NFL Week 7 Picks, Props And Parlays

The final NFL Sunday of October features some key contests and includes the first-ever game played in France when the Steelers (-3) tackle the Saints just outside Paris at Stade de France. The rest of Sunday’s action and our NFL Week 7 picks includes three division contests plus another on Monday Night Football with the Cowboys battling the banged-up and injured Eagles in Philadelphia.

Week 7 kicked off with a Chicago Bears win over the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football. We added to our NFL Week 7 picks with a totals tips talley with an ‘over’ the total winner in the Bears 30-24 win as a closing 3-point favorite. That snapped 10-game ATS winning streak for NFL Prime Time underdogs, who are now 15-5 ATS this season. The Bears 405 yards offense (6.1 yards per play) included 116 rushing yards on 30 attempts – a winning ATS profile that I will update in weeks ahead for 2026 season. The Patriots more efficient 380 yards at 7.6 yards per play only included 17 rushing attempts for 70 yards but a big play included the WFT 48-yard touchdown on the final play before halftime to cut the Bears lead to 20-14. The Bears are now 5-2 in the best division in football thus far with the Vikings (5-0) leading the NFC North also ahead of  the Packers (4-2) and Lions (3-2) with the Packers-Lions game in Detroit the biggest game on Sunday’s schedule.

Quarterbacks And Injuries

More quarterback injuries and the Week 7 injury report includes Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (calf, blood clots) out for the season with Philadelphia’s laundry list of injuries the longest on the report. Friday’s news included the return of QB Baker Mayfield of the Buccaneers (1-5) for their key contest against the Panthers (3-2) in the AFC South – the worst division again with three teams sporting losing records. The Giants are going with recently acquired QB J.J. McCarthy for his starting debut after he passed for 243 yards in the fourth quarter relieving no good Jameis Winston with 12 minutes left in the game. New York had four turnovers in a 34-27 loss to the Saints. The Ravens still list QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) as questionable and a game-time decision. He’s missed the Ravens last two games. The betting line has moved around all week from Ravens -3.5 to Bengals -1.5 and back to Ravens -1.5 as it continues to flip-flop. Monitor Jackson’s status and other key injuries. We like the Bengals off a bye regardless with two other Ravens defenders out, but we’ll wait to update as pick or opinion.

Picking and Betting NFL Winners

Our 2026 NFL full game spread picks and opinions are 17-9 ATS (picks 9-2) into Week 7 posting at Off Shore Gaming Association following a 3-0 ATS spread result in Week 6 with the Browns recommendation winning outright and closing +3.5 at many online sportsbooks. A parlay winner and another player prop winner made Week 7 a solid result along with our best results from Week 2 going 5-2 ATS (3-1 picks) and Week 4 (4-0 ATS) with our side/spread picks also 3-0 in Week 4 and 2-0 in Week 3.

Our player props are also winning and 6-3 in the 2026 season following 4-1 the past three weeks which included the Monday Night Football winner on Rams QB Matthew Stafford. That doesn’t include our additional Raiders winners posted separately that are 7-1 ATS picks and opinions (2-1 leans) including 2-0 in Week 6 vs. the Bills, and 4-1 on player props this season.

Recall Fairways Forecast had a 7-year run picking only NFL underdogs at OSGA and hitting 57% ATS, including a 70% ATS season (28-12) in 2021.

Key NFL Defensive Stats

The second half of the season is a good time to apply and use our four key defensive stats when handicapping and analyzing a matchup. We’ll update for you this week as teams that have the edge in 3 or 4 of the categories have a profitable profile when wagering as documented the second half of the season starting with Week 8. We mentioned and used this to identify Pittsburgh as a pick in Week 5, and the Steelers (-2.5) beat the Colts 34-22 while holding top RB Jonathan Taylor to 45 rushing yards.

Defensive stats of interest include:

– Total yards
– Yards per play
– Yards per rush
– Points allowed

Indianapolis at Minnesota – The Vikings are not only off a bye, but have the biggest defensive edges in all four categories in their Week 7 game against the Colts. Indianapolis not only has a very deficient defense allowing 4.8 yards per rush, 6.0 yards per play and 351 yards per game, but they in disarray with management firing their GM this week. I’m not in the business of suggesting people get fired, but GM Ballard did draft the complete bumbling bust QB Anthony Richardson No. 4 overall in Round 1 of the 2023 Draft. This week, Richardson was arrested for drug possession, adding to Colts chaos and inept Indianapolis. The Colts are going to be considering trades ahead of the Nov. 10 deadline and that may include RB Jonathan Taylor and star defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, who is in the final year of his contract. The Vikings would be wise to consider a package for trade for Taylor, and Minnesota gets a first-hand look at him this week. Vikings RB Aaron Jones is 31 years old, backup Jordan Mason returns this week from IR, and rookie Demond Claiborne is unproven. Free pick for the undefeated Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings hold a +1.3 net yards per play edge in this matchup with the Colts, and Minnesota’s defense is No. 1 in scoring (12.8 ppg) and No. 2 behind Seattle in total yards (260), yards per play (4.6), top 3 in pass defense(173 yards per game), No. 1 completions allowing 53.2% and among the leaders in run defense. Final crushing blows for Colts is that they blew a 13-point lead at home last week and lost to Tennessee (a winner for us) as the terrible Titans picked up their first win of the season. The Colts are also a league-worst -8 in turnover differential while the Vikings are a league-best +6, adding to our NFL Week 7 picks profiles.

Teams with 3-4 defensive edges in matchups this week.

– Steelers (4) vs. Saints
– Vikings (4) vs. Colts
– Packers (4) at Lions
– Bucs (4) at Panthers
– Rams (4) at Raiders
– Eagles (4) vs. Cowboys
– Browns (3) at Titans
– Ravens (3) vs. Bengals
– Jets (3) vs. Dolphins
– 49ers (3) at Falcons
– Broncos (3) at Cardinals

More NFL Week 7 picks and opinions in our Tips, Totals, Teasers and Trends report.

Tampa Bay at Carolina – The NFC South sucking again, and the first place Panthers (3-2) are off back-to-back wins and lead the Falcons (2-4), Saints (2-4) and Buccaneers (1-5) with QB Baker Mayfield returning this week after missing 3 games. No play yet, despite a surprise to many that the Bucs have the edge in all four defensive categories above. Also, under head coach Dave Canales, the Panthers are just 5-12 ATS off a win, including 0-5 ATS after a road win. Consider the Panthers in future games off a loss (17-6 ATS).

Kansas City at Seattle – Super Bowl MVP running back Kenneth Walker leads the Chiefs (6-0) off a bye into Seattle (3-3) against his former team. It should be tougher running on a Seahawks run defense allowing just 3.5 yards per rush and ranking top 5 in run defense overall. The Chiefs defense ranks No. 3 in the NFL in both EPA per play and success rate allowed, but they’ve also faced by far the easiest slate of opposing offenses in the Colts, Dolphins, and AFC West division rivals Broncos, Raiders and Chargers playing without both offensive tackles.

Teasers (3-team 6.5 point, +130)

– Vikings (-0.0), Bengals (+8), Falcons (+9)
