The Masters 2026 Golf Odds, Preview, Picks And Props
The 90th Masters Tournament tees off April 9, and the top players with proven profiles and performances at Augusta National are drawing the most interest and bets for The Masters 2026 golf major championship. I profile those key players and odds including the last four Masters winners Rory McIlroy, John Rahm and Scottie Scheffler (2x) along with other leading contenders and selective longshots in my Masters preview and major championships coverage at Off Shore Gaming Association.

Tommy Fleetwood (+2250) – Last year’s FedExCup champion is still shooting for his first major win and now ranked No. 4 in the
world. He had three T3 or better finishes to close last year on the DP World Tour, and four top 10 finishes in five PGA Tour starts since February. Tommy Boy’s putting has really held him back from winning this year ranking outside the top 120. But the 35-year-old ranks No. 2 Around the Green, No. 5 Tee to Green, No. 21 Ball Striking No. 14 SG: Total. Fleetwood’s 1.33 strokes gained per round in Signature Events and Playoff events the last two years is No. 2 on Tour behind Scheffler. Fleetwood’s best finishing score at The Masters is 278, or 6-under par in 2020 (T19). He’s since finished T14 in 2022, T21 last year and T3 (-4) in 2024. Augusta scoring average: 72.00
Ludvig Aberg (+1800) – The sensational Swede is really rounding into top form having T3 last month at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and then led The Players Championship by 3-shots into the final round as our pre-tourney pick, and 2-shots into the back nine before falling apart to finish T5. He couldn’t close again with a chance to win the Valero Texas Open last week and finished T5. In two Masters starts, the 26-year-old has finished 2nd and then last year was 10-under par and just 1-shot behind the leader at #17 on Sunday before faltering again losing 4-shots over the final two holes to finish T7. His distance combined with elite iron play and high ball flight into the greens makes him a solid fit at Augusta. Over the past two years, Åberg has gained an average of 1.77 strokes per round (min. 16 rounds) on long courses, against strong fields and under difficult scoring conditions to rank top 5 in this field behind Scheffler, DeChambeau, Schauffele and McIlroy and just ahead of Rahm and Fleetwood. Aberg’s putting has been the weakest part of his game this year ranking No. 54 on Tour. But he’s top 10 in Tee-to-Green and top 25 in Around the Green, Ball Striking, Off the Tee and Total. Augusta scoring average: 70.30
Cameron Young (+2250) – The 2026 Players Championship winner has risen to No. 3 in the world rankings with 11 top 10’s since missing the cut at The Masters last year. I bet him at 40/1 to win the 2026 Masters during his final round at The Players, and his odds have steadily dropped since to now nearly half those odds. The 28-year-old also finished T3 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and T7 at The Genesis with elite form and play since late February ahead of The Masters. Young has a pair of top 10 finishes at Augusta in 2023 and 2024 and his skills, driving and much improved putting set him up for success if he puts it together at Augusta. Cam Young is one of 10 players in this year’s field that enters Masters week gaining at least 18 strokes Tee-to-Green in their last four starts, joining Rahm, Aberg, Morikawa, McIlroy, Fitzpatrick, Schaffele, DeChambeau, Fleetwood and Min Woo Lee. Since 14-of-the-last 14 Masters winners fit that T2G profile over their last four starts ahead of winning the Masters, you may want to consider Young on your short list of winners like I did at better odds. He ranks top 5 Off the Tee and top 10 Tee-to-Green, Ball Striking and Total this year. Augusta scoring average: 72.92

The Masters 2026 Golf Picks
Fairway’s Favorites: Rahm, McIlroy, Schauffele, Aberg
Fairway’s Longshots: Fleetwood, Fitzpatrick, Young, N. Hojgaard
Fairway’s Fliers: Day, Bridgeman, Knapp, Sungjae Im
Fairway Fades: Bradley
Tournament Match-ups: Aberg (+100) over DeChambeau, Rahm (+130) over Scheffler, Young (+109) over Fitzpatrick.
Added Fleetwood (-128) over MacIntyre (Circa).
Post Masters update and leaderboard: Masters Tournament matchups 3-1 and now 14-4 in 2026. Outright winner on McIlroy. Biggest outright payoff was on Cameron Young, who just missed but T3 after co-leader through 54 holes with McIlroy. But Young shot 73 Sunday to finish 2-strokes back of Rory, and some of the worst strokes gained stats across the board in the final round for Young of the top 10-12 finishers.
Fleetwood has finished T3 and T21 the last two years at The Masters, and MacIntyre T21 and cut his last two appearances. Tommy Boy also has four top 10 finishes in his last five tournaments since mid-February, and his stats support those results. Fleetwood ranks top 5 in this field in strokes gained Tee-to-Green and Around the Green (2nd) this year, and his Ball Striking and Approach play have been solid. His putting has let him down, and even if a little above average, he may have a few more wins this year, especially at The Players Championship. MacIntyre has been trending strong with a pair of top 5 finishes his last two events, top 20 at comp course Riviera and three top 10’s plus a win to close 2025 Nov-Dec outside the U.S. Yet I much prefer Fleetwood’s game, stats and strengths at Augusta. Bobby Mac’s putting has been elite, but he ranks outside the top 120 in Approach play in 2026, and Fleetwood has been much better Tee-to-Green, Ball Striking and Around the Green.
Masters Winners Trends
PGA Tour data analyst Ron Klos @PGASplits101 notes the following trends for winners at #TheMasters. McIlroy fit all 19 trends in winning last year. Hitting 17 of the trends into the 2026 Masters are Aberg, Schauffele, Fleetwood, and 16 Scheffler, McIlroy, Rahm, DeChambeau,… pic.twitter.com/zCosxKqbBb

Masters Handicapping History
This year’s Masters Tournament has a prize pool of $22.5 million and first place prize of $4.5 million. Follow along for any additional Masters golf updates, picks, round-by-round matchups and information you can bet on. Note our 2026 PGA tournament matchups are 11-3 with select Signature Events, Majors and FedExCup Playoffs provided at OSGA. That included The Genesis Invitational on Masters comp course Riviera CC, going 2-0 on matchups including McIlroy (+220) over Scheffler. Then a season-best 4-0 at the Cognizant Classic the following week.
Recent years Masters handicapping and betting results include 1-1 posted tournament matchups in 2025 with McIlroy outright winner and matchup ‘Dog over Scheffler. In 2024, Masters posted matchups went 2-1 with Will Zalatoris keyed and he posted his third top 10 since 2021 when he finished 2nd on debut at Augusta National. Sadly, Zalatoris won’t be in this year’s Masters as injuries have stunted his career. In 2021 we started the year 12-3 on matchups into The Masters and then went 2-0. In the 2020 fall Masters, we had two more matchup winners with Dustin Johnson (tourney winner) and McIlroy (T5) both over DeChambeau.
Now Fairway’s Forecast has posted 11-3 tournament matchup results into the 2026 Masters. But nothing beats the birdie-fest 9-0 in 2018 Masters Tournament matchups. So matchups are the way to play, along with select props and top finishing position if you want to win more consistently. Futures and outrights draw more interest for a bigger score, especially at The Masters 2026 golf tournament. You can learn more from my past Masters betting guide and tips, and keys to contending at the Masters with additional handicapping insight, strategies and considerations when betting on golf and The Masters.
Next week is the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town $4 million Signature Event, where we cashed an easy 10-shot matchup winner on Daniel Berger (T3) over Denny McCarthy last year. More Masters and PGA Tour coverage including picks in pursuit of profit with information you can bet on.
