Our NFL 2025 Week 8 picks, parlays and props continue following  a strong Week 7 going 3-0 on picks. The player props finally had a losing week and now 12-3 since Week 3. Those results followed profitable Week 6 results with another top pick winner and 3-1 picks and opinions.

The Chargers kicked off Week 8 with a Thursday Night Football win over the Vikings, 37-10. Check out my initial Week 8 picks, parlays and props coverage at OSGA as we shoot for more winners.

NFL 2025 Week 8 picks

Miami at Atlanta – Falcons now -7 on Saturday at BetOnline with QB Penix likely out and Kirk Cousins set to start. Dominant rushing stats edge projection leads this pick on the Falcons hoping inconsistent and injured QB Penix (knee) doesn’t turn the ball over. Better yet if he doesn’t play and QB Cousins gets the call. Regardless, Atlanta is one of three teams averaging 30 rushing attempts per game while top 5 in rushing yards per game (136) and Dolphins bottom five (92 per game). Miami run defense is league-worst allowing 159 rushing yards per game, 5.2 yards per rush and 30 rushing attempts per game. Dolphins have turnover troubles with -6 TO differential, and the fish are floundering and fried with the Falcons holding five opponents this season to season-low yardage including the 49ers last week despite losing at San Francisco 20-10. Miami has lost road games by 25, 18 and 25 points last week at Cleveland, 31-6, and the Dolphins are losing the stats in games this year by an average of -110 yards per game. Playbook also notes that Miami is just 5-20 SU and 9-16 ATS against .500 or greater foes under lame duck head coach Mike McDaniel. The Dolphins also lost their other road game this season 27-24 at Carolina in a game Miami was outrushed 239-19. Of course, the Panthers have a mostly incapable and incompetent quarterback, and the Falcons and RB BiJan Robinson are going to run wild. Robinson is 6th in the NFL in rushing yards, and averaging 87 rushing yards per game at 5.4 yards per rush. He could double that production this week against the fried fish whose players sound beaten and battered in their interviews. Final crushing blow is Falcons +1.5 net yards per play differential in this matchup – second highest of the week behind Colts laying biggest price of the week against the terrible Titans.

NFL Player Props

A rough Week 8 on player props (0-3) drops the run to 12-3 since Week 3 with close results last week including on Monday Night Football with Texans WR Nico Collins sitting at 4 receptions at halftime but unable to get over 5.5 despite 10 targets while his teammate TE Dalton Schultz had 9 receptions on 10 targets.

Falcons RB Bijan Robinson – Over 88.5 rushing yards.
This is a high number, but you’ll see it even higher at select sportsbooks on Sunday, and Robinson has rushed for 143 yards at Minnesota and 170 versus Buffalo. See my Falcons-Dolphins game analysis and you’ll understand why the Falcons are going to dominate at the point of attack and rush to the window with Robinson. Robinson for 100+ rushing yards at +140 or better odds can add more profit. Considering Robinson rushing attempts over 18.5 as well, but he could be resting on the sidelines in the fourth quarter.

You can bet on it.
