Fairway’s Football Forecast – NFL Week 5 Underdog Picks And Preview

We kick off NFL Week 5 underdog picks looking to continue our strong start to the 2022 season. In Week 4 we went 2-1 with two more outright underdog winners for our fourth straight winning week. In Week 3 we had our biggest card in 5 years posting underdog picks on these pages, which are originally posted at Offshore Gaming Association. A 6-2 ATS week with six outright underdog winners followed. Now into Week 5, the ‘Dog log is 14-7 ATS with 13 outright underdog winners.

That follows a 70% season going 28-12 ATS posting underdog only picks on these pages in 2021. The 5+ year record posting underdog picks is now 144-98 (59.5%) with 81 outright underdog winners. A near 60% win rate posting only underdog picks on nearly 250 plays over 5 years is strong stuff. Compare that to others, or touts and pick sellers. You’ll find very, very few with that type of winning ATS record, and especially picking sides only. Add in past Super Contest and NFL ATS success, and long term better than 57% ATS winners and 8 straight seasons of winning NFL picks documented more than a decade ago. You’ve come to one of the best places to get picks from a proven handicapper who has also been a guest talking sports on Las Vegas and national radio before legalized sports betting (2018).

After 10 road favorites on the Week 1 card, and 8 more in Week 3, we had our two biggest cards piling on home underdogs with success. Now in Week 5, there are four more road favorites. Let’s see if we can post our fifth straight winning week to start the 2022 NFL season.
