NFL Week 5 Picks, Props And Parlays
The 2026 NFL futures, season wins and odds continue to adjust into NFL Week 5 as leading online sportsbooks provide more betting options and ways to win while profiting from the experience. That leads us into our NFL Week 5 picks, props and parlays report, which follows a huge Week 4 that saw Fairway’s Forecast go 4-0 ATS on picks and opinions (3-0 picks) and 2-0 on parlays and 1-0 on player props.
The NFL betting scene in my inital NFL Week 5 picks at Off Shore Gaming Association shows just three teams remain undefeated with the AFC West Kansas City Chiefs (4-0) leading the way along with the NFC West San Francisco 49ers (4-0) and surprising NFC North leaders Minnesota Vikings (4-0). All three teams are among the league leaders in scoring defense with the Vikings top 5 (289 ypg, 4.9 yards per play) and No. 1 scoring defense (12.8 ppg), but a NFC-worst 263 ypg offense averaging a league-worst 4.4 yards per play.

The Chiefs have a bye this week, the Niners tackle the Super Bowl champions Seahawks (3-1) in Seattle in the biggest game on Sunday, and the Vikings are a slight road favorite at New Orleans. All the key games and five division contests lincluding the surprising NFC East leaders New York Giants (3-1) at Washington Commanders (1-3) plus the Chicago Bears (3-1) at Green Bay Packers (2-2) leads our NFL Week 5 picks, props and parlays report.
Less we mention the four winless teams at 0-4 with all four in the AFC including the two league-worst offensive scoring teams in the terrible Titans (13.8 ppg) and disastrous, finless Dolphins (11.5). The Chargers and Texans also remain winless, and Los Angeles and Houston won 11 and 12 games last season on their way to the playoffs. The Buccaneers (1-4) won their first game as a big underdog (+8.5) with a 24-16 win at Dallas Thursday night to kickoff NFL Week 5 action. The Titans host the Texans and one of those teams will remain winless as the two dormant AFC South teams play in Nashville on Sunday.

NFL Week 5 select game analysis to be provided into the weekend along with any additional picks, opinions, stats, ATS and information you can bet on.

Winning Picks and Information you can bet on
Our 2026 NFL full game spread picks and opinions are 12-6 ATS (picks 8-2) into Week 6 posting at Off Shore Gaming Association. Best results include Week 2 going 5-2 ATS (3-1 picks) and Week 4 (4-0 ATS) with our side/spread picks also 3-0 in Week 4 and 2-0 in Week 3 plus 3-0 on parlays the last two weeks and season-winning player props.
I post more picks, opinions and props on Raiders games each week, and those picks and opinions are 5-1 this season (2-0 picks) and 3-0 on player props following a 2-0 week on props in the key Week 4 AFC West game vs. the Kansas City that saw the Raiders (+4.5) lose but cover ATS vs. the Chiefs.
Some horrible officiating and calls has cost us and many bettors money beyond ‘tough luck’ losses to NFL teams like the Rams in Week 3 on a late-game blown call at Denver.

Indianapolis at Pittsburgh – Tough schedule spot for the Colts returning from their trip to London. It was a winning week 30-13 over the Commanders despite gaining just 257 perfectly balanced run/pass yards at a poor 3.9 yards per play. Indy lost the turnover battle and is now a league-worst minus (-6) in turnover margin this season. As the season moves ahead, I’ll document and review a very positive and useful stats matchup profile utilizing four key defensive stats categories – total yards, yards per play, yards per rush and points allowed. The Steelers have the edge in all four categories in this matchup. When at least three of those are in favor of one team, it’s positive and was very profitable again the second half of last season. We’ll utilize it more come November forward, but I wanted to see how it stacked up for select games of interest thus far. We would like to see the Steelers run the ball more than their bottom-5 league attempts of 21.5 rushes per game, and 95 rushing yards per game (#22). But the Colts AFC-worst 6.2 yards per play defense and bottom-5 rush defense (4.8 ypr) combined with the Steelers +1.0 net yards per play differential and projected yardage edge or more than 120 yards makes Pittsburgh a most likely winner with more running this game and competent HOF QB Rodgers quick releases and care and accuracy with the football. Know too that in competitively-lined games (6 or less), the straight up winner is 38-4-1 ATS this season and greater than 92% ATS historically (Dog wins outright or favorite covers). Steelers win more easily than expected.
See more select game analysis in our Week 5 tips, totals, teasers and trends report. The passing of Bears legend Mike Ditka will ensure the Bears run their A– off even more as the league leader in rushing (196/game) and attempts (39.8) while the Packers run the ball a league-low 18.3 times per game and just 58 yards per game. The four defensive stats categories are split Bears-Packers, but you’ll be surprised to know that the terrible Titans have the edge in three of four categories. Trying to figure out which bumbling Bro QB will fk-up and make more mistakes, turnovers is a guessing game, and clearly the Titans team is handcuffed with Cam Ward. But too many points and the winless Texans have their own issues while underperforming. The Jets hold edges in all four defensive catetories plus a slight net yards per play differential advantage. New York blew their only home game against Green Bay while the Browns have won three close contests and were out-gained and out-rushed at Tampa Bay but escaped with a win. While we also have concerns with the QB/Coach combo, play calling and organization, the Jets are still the preferred play riding a 3-game losing streak against the Browns 3-game winning streak.
Week 5 Player Props
DET-AZ: Lions TE Sam LaPorta over 50.5 receiving yards. LaPorta comes off his best game of the season last week with 8 receptions on 13 targets for 84 yards and a touchdown. He’s averaging 8 targets per game and his low yardage total is 44 yards this season. A high game total in the 50’s and our totals tip for more scoring and projections for plenty of passing suggests LaPorta will be in line for another productive game.A high game total in the 50’s and projections for more passing suggests LaPorta will be in line for another productive game. The Cardinals heavy two-high coverage (73%) combined with the league’s highest cover-6 rate (27%) is a strong fit and matchup for LaPorta’s production against those defensive schemes. The Cardinals defense has already allowed three TE’s to eclipse 58 receiving yards this season, and Arizona has allowed the eighth-most receiving yards per game (66) and the seventh-most yards per target (8.5) to tight ends this year. The Lions rank top-4 in the league this season averaging 40 passing attempts per contest. All four Lions games have sailed over the game total with Detroit’s deficient defense allowing a league-high 423 yards per game. Bet on more offensive production, passing, scoring and targets for LaPorta making over his yardage prop and profitable play.
You can bet on it.
