NFL 2026 Raiders-Saints Week 3 Preview And Picks

The Las Vegas Raiders have started to 2026 season 2-0 with wins over the Miami Dolphins and division rival Las Vegas Chargers. Back-to-back road games has us previewing the Raiders-Saints Week 3 matchup in New Orleans.

Opinion: Raiders and Lean Under

Our picks, opinions, leans and player props are 5-0 on Raiders games through Week 2.

This line has moved up off the key number 3, as bettors believe in the Saints and their offense more than the Raiders. My projections have both teams near 300 yards, like last week when the Saints (298 yards, 4.6 yards per play) beat the Ravens on the road 24-17, and the Raiders also got a road win at Los Angeles 26-14 with just 305 yards offense (5.1). Also nearly identical was the Saints and Raiders defense, holding the Ravens and Chargers to just 312 and 310 yards.

The Saints have a slightly better yards per play margin than the Raiders through two games, and will try to attack a Raiders missing safety Treydan Stukes is out (concussion). Saints QB Tyler Shough (shuck) leads the NFL with 662 passing yards. But Saints starting left tackle (Banks) is out after suffering a high-ankle spain in last week’s win, and required surgery.

Both the Saints and Raiders are 2-0 ATS with the Saints playing from behind in both games and a 2-point conversion at Detroit to end the game from being 2-0 SU like the Raiders. But New Orleans is now on a 8-0 ATS run dating back to last season. The Saints and Raiders are also trying to go from worst-t0-first in their divisions, and the winner of this game Raiders-Saints Week 3 game remains at least tied for first place in their division.

Saints head coach Kellen Moore and Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak both call plays on offense. Those two young head coaches under age 40 are the current NFL Coach of the Year favorites with Moore (+600) just ahead of Kubiak (+1000). While I prefer the under, it’s a lean as they two offensive masterminds have edges over their defensive counterparts. The Saints are a most popular play and playing their home opener. But the Raiders remain undervalued and still plenty of room for improvement with QB Kirk Cousins playing at a high, mistake free level with 3 TD passes for the Raiders in each of the first two games to compliment a solid ground game and much improved offensive line and defense.
