Evaluating NFL Week 16 Lookahead Lines And Week 15 Market Moves
Each week during the NFL season, the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas, FanDuel, PointsBet, William Hill and other selected sportsbooks release the betting lines for the following week’s games. These lines offer a glimpse at the projected betting lines up to 10 days in advance of the games. This week we provide and evaulate the Week 16 lookahead lines and some selected match-ups.
I update these NFL lookahead lines and current week market moves initially each week in the Recency Report at TheLines. NFL WEEK 15 ODDS
Check out the NFL Week 15 Odds with sides, totals and moneylines provided and some of the selected match-ups and market moves I chip-in with at TheLines. Also, a Week 15 Thursday night winner on the Chargers (+3.5) outright win over the Las Vegas Raiders, 30-27 in overtime. Also, a ‘under’ passing yards prop winner on Raiders QB Derek Carr, who left the game early with a groin injury.
There appears to be a lot of agreement among William Hill bettors for the Week 15 Pro 🏈 slate. 👀
Seven teams are getting at least 80% of the total number of tickets for all spread bets in their respective games, led by Kansas City at 88%.

- Detroit at Tennessee: Titans from -8.5 to () vs. Lions
- Tampa Bay at Atlanta: Buccaneers from -2.5 to () at Falcons
- Seattle at Washington: Seahawks from -3.5 to () vs. WFT
- NY Jets at LA Rams: Rams from -13.5 to () vs Jets
- Cleveland at NY Giants: Browns from -3.5 to () at Giants
- Pittsburgh at Cincinnati: Steelers from -11.5 to () at Bengals

WEEK 16 BETTING BREAKDOWN
Week 16 features a Christmas Day game between the Vikings (6-7) and Saints (10-3) in New Orleans, and a rematch of last year’s playoff game that saw Minnesota upset New Orleans.
The Rams (9-4) and Seahawks (9-4) have a first place NFC West showdown in Seattle. The Rams won the first meeting 23-16 as a 3-point favorite in Week 10. Los Angeles boasts and elite defense allowing league-lows 285 yards per game and 4.6 yards per play.
A potential playoff preview in the AFC is also on tap in Week 16 between the Colts (9-4) and Steelers (11-2) in Pittsburgh with both teams making a push towards the Super Bowl.
