College Football Week 7

College Football Picks Week 8

Sat., Oct. 18

  • Tennessee (+3.5) vs. Alabama
  • Virginia (+21.5) at Clemson

Opinions

  • LSU (-2.5) at Arkansas
  • Illinois (+4.5) vs. Michigan
  • West Virginia (+3) vs. Kansas State

Non Top 25 Opinion

  • Iowa (-5.5) at Michigan State

Alabama at Tennessee

See more stats and ATS info in my college football Top 25 coverage in Forbes. It’s a Pick on Tennessee, who both runs (235 yards) and passes (203) for at least 200 yards per game. I’ll be updating more college football stats of significance, but the Volunteers stronger, balanced offensive attack combined with a better defense at home is an easy choise over an Alabama team that lost to Vanderbilt as a huge favorite and struggled last week again as a 20+ point favorite in a 2-point home win over South Carolina.

Tough Travel and Matchups

Situational handicapping includes travel and time changes with more teams changing conferences and longer travel, especially for previous Pac 12 teams. That includes UCLA at Rutgers and USC at Maryland this week, along with early start for Arizona State at undervalued Cincinnati. Also, Kansas State going from the elevation at Colorado and emotional 31-28 win to the woods in West Virginia setting up a nice spot for the Mountaineers to also take advantage or more Wildcats injuries. No play yet, as WV also dealing with more injuries and we’ll see if some +3’s pop on home ‘Dog.

I pick and bet other games, but cover the Top 25 each week in Forbes providing information you can bet on for the most watched and wagered games generating the most interest.

You can bet on it.
