Cadillac Championship 2026 Golf Odds, Preview, Picks And Props

The new tournament added to this year’s PGA Signature Event schedule is the Cadillac Championship 2026 golf event at the ‘Blue Monster’ in Miami. The tournament drew a compact field of 72 golfers, but some top players are skipping the Cadillac Championship $20 million event that awards $3.6 million to the winner. Still, world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler heads the field as the prohibitive favorite followed by Players Championship winner Cameron Young, who is up to No. 4 in the world.

But five of the top 15 players in the world are skipping the Cadillac Championship as I outlined in my tournament preview at Off Shore Gaming Association. That includes Xander Schauffele, Ludvig Aberg, Robert MacIntyre and world No. 3 Matt Fitzptrick, who won last week at the Zurich Classic team event with his brother Alex, and also won the recent Signature Event RBC Heritage.  World No. 2 and Masters champion Rory McIlroy has flipped the bird at President Trump and his habitual lying POS ways, as the golf course returns to the PGA Tour rotation at Trump National Doral. Of course, Trump National hosted four LIV Golf events in support of big money Saudi. The longest course on the PGA Tour will demand length off the tee and stronger long iron play on the 7,739 yard Par 72 course where water comes into play on 10 holes with a particular prominant water-lined closing stretch.

Some of the top players in this Cadillac Championship 2026 field were profiled in my Masters coverage and Players Championship preview, and additional information you can bet on with odds, props, picks and stats of interest are below. It’s been 10 years since any of these golfers have played an event at Doral, so course form and stats from the Blue Monster are not applicable.

Length, strength, and stronger long iron play are keys as top players leading in strokes gained stats attack the longer holes with six of the eight par 4’s stretching beyond 450 yards, and two par 5’s more than 600 yards. The 2014 renovation by Gil Hanse expanded the elevated and heavily contoured bermuda greens with more tight runoff areas and deep bunkers adding to the challenge.

Next week it’s another Signature Event at a familiar course, Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte for the Truist Championship where Fairway’s Forecast went 2-0 in tournament matchups last year with a pair of top 10 finishers. Yet Scottie Scheffler will skip that event, proving again that the PGA Tour’s attempt to bring in the best players while reducing field size significantly is causing more problems than positives, despite the massive purses of at least $20 million.

Yet while the rich get richer, the PGA Tour slices nearly 5% of their staff this past week, trimming the rough around the edges and greens hoping to streamline their course for a better fit.

Give them a bogey.

You can bet on it.
