BMW Championship 2026 Odds And Golf Betting Preview And Picks For FedExCup Playoffs

The FedExCup Playoffs continue and the top 50 players remaining in the FedExCup Standings will tee it up at the BMW Championship 2026 event. The no-cut event returns to Bellerive Country Club just outside St. Louis. The course last hosted a PGA Tour event for the 2018 PGA Championship, and also since 2000 the 2008 FedExCup Playoffs. Tournament and playoff preview includes course and player profiles, odds, picks and props with information you can bet on.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler posted a dominant 8-shot win in last weeks’ FedEx St. Jude Championship to kickoff the FedExCup Playoffs. Scheffler is the prohibitive favorite again, he also won the 2025 BMW Championship. Last Year’s BMW Championship playoff winners and top finishers included:

1. Scottie Scheffler (-15)
2. Robert McIntyre (-13)
3. Maverick McNealy
T4. Sam Burns, Tommy Fleetwood
6. Harry Hall
7. Ludvig Aberg, Viktor Hovland, Rickie Fowler
10. Michael Kim
11. Cameron Young
12. Rory McIlroy

Viktor Hovland won the 2023 BMW Championship, and Patrick Cantlay won in 2022 and 2021 when the event was played at different courses.

Of the 50 players competing this week in the BMW Championship 2026 tournament, these players finished top 20 when the course hosted the 2018 PGA Championship with softer conditions. Adam Scott (3rd), Justin Thomas and Gary Woodland (T6), Rickie Fowler (T12) and Justin Rose (T19).

Bellerive Country Club

Bellerive will play to 7,448 yards and Par 70. The two par-5s measure over 600 yards, and little has changed in the layout since the Reese Jones renovation starting in 2005. Fairly generous tree-lined fairways narrow to below average 26 yards at the 300 yard mark off the tee. Total driving skills are rewarded with added length an advantage. However, the rough is penal, and softer conditions could be in play with heat and humidity again. Like the FedEx St. Jude event last week at TPC Southwind, Zoysiagrass fairways are in play at Bellerive, and again next week at East Lake for the Tour Championship. Monitor the weather in St. Louis, as rain and thunderstorms which could hit the area on Wednesday and Thursday (40-60%).

Stats: Leaders last week at FedEx St. Jude on Approach from Zoisiagrass – Scheffler, Noren, Burns, Matsuyama, Si Woo Kim, Cantlay. Ball Striking leaders were Gotterup, Aberg, Matsuyama, Cantlay, Hovland, Si Woo Kim. Greens in Regulation leaders were Scheffler (76.4%), Aberg, Hovland, Gotterup, Burns (65.3%) with tourament winner Scheffler by far the leader in Putting.

Beyond Scottie Scheffler’s strokes gained leading stats and tournament-best Putting and Approach play last week at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, in-form players who find more fairways and excel in mid-to-long-iron approach play will have more birdie opportunities on the fast, fast, oversized (7,600 sq feet ave.) and more heavily contoured Bentgrass greens.
