LPGA Aramco Championship Las Vegas
Final Round LPGA Aramco Championship
Just five players are under par into Sunday’s final round of the LPGA Aramco Championship in Las Vegas. The luxurious and lush Tom Fazio-designed masterpiece is an oasis in the desert, but a majority of the LPGA pros have struggled to score across the 6,683 yard par 72 at Shadow Creek Golf Course.
Ten players started Saturday’s third round in red numbers, and they all will continue to chase Round 1 leader Lauren Coughlin (-7) and the $600,000 first place prize. That includes fellow American and world No. 2 Nelly Norda (-5), who made up 3 shots on the leader Saturday shooting a 3-under 69.
The ladies Aramco Championship is co-sanctioned by the LPGA and Ladies European Tour (LET). Last year’s LPGA tournament at Shadow Creek was a match play event.

I was at Shadow Creek Saturday for the $4 million LPGA Aramaco Championship event, and met some of the special people and media members who are a key part of this special event. A beautiful blue-sky and sunshine day to be walking and watching across the stunning landscape and golf sanctuary with imported turf, bubbling brooks snd lakes, and a variety of tens of thousands of trees.
Along with seeing the sweet swing of Nelly Korda above, I followed Kelly Norda’s sister Jessica Korda and world No. 4 Charley Hull through part of their back-9. Those two shot 73 and 75. I turned to some of the leaders through the front-9.
Coughlin is shooting for her third LPGA win, and she extended her lead to 2-strokes with a birdie on the par 5 closing hole. It would be the 33-year-olds first since 2024, and a big score and jackpot in Las Vegas for the Virginia native.
Nelly Korda has a win this year, and back-to-back runner-up finishes to conclude March. The 27-year-old Flordian has 16 career LPGA Tour wins after winning seven times in 2025 as the LPGA’s Player of the Year.
“I’m just playing really good golf,” Korda said after also posting a birdie on 18 and one of the few scoring holes through the tournament. “I just feel refreshed and excited to compete. But “Shadow definitely showed its colours the last couple days, and it’s been playing brutally hard, especially the back nine.”
Coughlin added, “This golf course is really, really hard, especially if you get in the wrong spot.” And if the wind is blowing like Friday.
How hard? The LPGA’s winner the last two weeks, Korean Hyo Joo Kim, shot 79 Saturday and has fallen down the leaderboard to T17 (+4).

The top field of ladies at the LPGA Aramco Championship are playing alongside this week’s PGA men’s event at the Valero Texas Open, which had a weather delay Saturday and leader Robert MacIntyre leads Ludvig Aberg. Next week is the PGA’s first major of the year – The Masters at Augusta National, where the top players will shoot for a green jacket and more memorable moments like Rory McIlroy experienced in last year’s playoff win.
Next week the pros on the LPGA Tour head to Los Angeles for the $3.75 million LA Championship followed the by $8 million Chevron Championship at Memorial Golf Course in Houston – site of the recent PGA Tour Texas Houston Open. Other top LPGA tournaments ahead include the $12 million Women’s U.S. Open at Riviera CC in Pacific Palasades, CA – site of the PGA Genesis Invitational Signature Event.
