NBA Finals Playoff Props

The NBA Finals moves to Game 6 and the Milwaukee Bucks lead the Phoenix Suns 3-2 after a thrilling Bucks comeback win, 123-119 Game 5 in Phoenix. I chipped in more NBA Finals playoff props and a 3-0 sweep at FanDuel Sportsbook including alternate props. Check out the Game 5 prop bets at The Duel Sports, and I’ve also included them below.

We crushed player props in first round games, and added more second round prop winners with multiple 3-0 sweeps and big results again. I’ve also added the third round sweep below, as the 2021 NBA Playoffs finish up with prop bets proving very profitable.

If you parlayed the three prop bets in the NBA Finals Game 5, you would have cashed at greater than +1400 odds as we had a solid +340 alternate prop parlay winner. So a $100 parlay bet returned $1,467.

We had a similar 3-0 sweep back in Round 2 and Game 2 prop bets in the LA Clippers – Utah Jazz series. All three prop bets were plus odds, and if you parlayed, you cashed in at +1400 instead of standard +600 on a 3-team or prop parlay at -110 odds.

I’ve added some samples of quick-hitting prop bet analysis, and you can check out more at the Duel Sports, by FanDuel.

NBA Finals Playoff Props – Suns vs Bucks Game 5

1. Home Team Total Points – Over 110.5 (-120)

The Suns scored 118 points in each of the first two homes games of this series, as Phoenix went up 2-0 and continued their stronger play and shooting at home. The Suns scored 31 points off turnovers in the two homes games against the Bucks, and the Suns committed 18 more turnovers than the Bucks in Games 3 and 4 on the road. Expect the Suns’ star guards to protect the ball better in Phoenix, improve fast break points and get the Suns back to scoring more.

2. Khris Middleton – Points + Assists : Over 30.5 (-106)

The Bucks dominated the offensive glass in Game 3 and 4. Khris Middleton took over and had his way against Mikal Bridges to pour in 40 points. The Bucks’ ability to get second-chance points and control the paint is their edge to try and snap the home team’s dominance in this series. Middleton and Giannis should play off each other well again with Middleton able to match his 29-point performance in Game 1 at Phoenix.

3. Match/Total Parlay: Bucks/Over 218.5 (+340)

The combination of points off turnovers, second chance and fast break points favored the Bucks in Game 3 and 4. Milwaukee outscored Phoenix in those categories 111-30 and were nearly even in the two games in Phoenix. Advanced stats show some solid edges favoring the Bucks as they have gained momentum. This sets up to be the highest-scoring games of the series with the Bucks having a solid shot to win and snap the home court edge in the finals. Risk is worth the reward.

Conference Finals Prop Bets – Bucs vs Hawks Game 2

Another 3-0 sweep on Game 2 prop bets, and 4-0 if you followed the lead on Jrue Holiday.

1. Trae Young – Points: Under 30.5 (-110)

The postseason upstart Atlanta Hawks rode a sublime performance from standout guard Trae Young to take Game 1. Young poured in a game high 48 points on 34 shots and added 11 assists. He leads all players in assists during the playoffs. Young’s Game 2 points and assists prop is up to over/under 40.5. The Bucks held the high-scoring Nets to 96 points or less in three home games last series, and adjustments will be made to slow Young in Game 2.

2. Jrue Holiday – Points: Over 20.5 (-104)

As Young shimmies and shakes while displaying his tremendous offensive skills, his weak defensive display is overlooked. That opened the door for Jrue Holiday to score a playoff high 33 points in Game 1. He’s only eclipsed 20 points in two playoff games this year, but the Bucks point guard has shifty quickness and is a crafty ball handler that knows how to get defenders off balance with the dribble. Holiday took a playoff-high 12 three-pointers in Game 1 and made five. You can bet he’ll make at least three more in Game 2 at +180 odds. Either way, Holiday should take advantage of Young and the Hawks defenders again.

3. Khris Middleton – Points + Rebounds: Under 31.5 (-120)

Player prop bettors cashed in easily last series with Khris Middleton, and his rebounding was solid in select games along with his shot-making. He had 13 rebound in Game 1 last series and also had 15 rebounds in Game 3 and 10 rebounds in Game 7. But Middleton’s scoring and rebounds fell off in Game 1 vs. the Hawks. He had 15 points and he was 0-for-9 from beyond the arc. Middleton’s matchups may not be as favorable as the Bucks lean on Giannis and Jrue more.
