Fairway’s Football Forecast – NFL Week 3 Underdog Picks And Preview

Week 2 was a good one going 3-0 on our underdog picks and now 5-1 ATS this season with four outright winners. Check out the moneyline underdog parlay winner that paid out 17/1 odds, and know those are among the most difficult to hit and win. We’ve been posting NFL underdog only picks on these pages for the past 4+ seasons, and now 107-80 ATS (57.2%). That follows 8 straight winning seasons in NFL and better than 57% ATS on nearly 650 plays.

Check out my Week 3 update at Offshore Gaming as I provide some additional rushing stats and insight on using those stats in your handicapping.

With most the public and betting action on the favorites last week, this week and every week, the sportsbooks cleaned up most bettors in Weeks 1 and 2, but not this one as we had winning weeks. NFL underdogs are now 21-11 ATS this season.

Strategies and Sports Betting Stories

We play against the Seahawks this week at winless Minnesota, who should and/or could very easily be 2-0. You think Minnesota would be an underdog if that was the case? No, and Seattle is WTF – Wrong Team Favored this week on the road against the Vikings.

This should be a shootout favoring the Vikings, and the total is up to 55 at leading online sportsbooks and even 55.5 at FanDuel.

Be sure to check the NFL injury reports and monitor the betting lines as a number of teams report injuries each week and early in the season. That includes the Dolphins QB Tua Tagvailoa, who is out with fractured ribs in Miami’s match-up in Las Vegas against the undefeated Raiders.

NFL Week 3 Underdog Picks

Minnesota (+2.5) vs Seattle – Vikings Moneyline +110

Line moved to +2.5 (-114) on Thursday at FanDuel. Okay to take +2 or buy to +3 if preferred, of course bet moneyline and add Vikings to all teaser bets.

I’m traveling late week and unavailable. Any other updates or picks added over the weekend, but Vikings only underdog pick as we shoot to move to 6-1 ATS this season and our fifth outright underdog winner.
