Wells Fargo Championship 2023 Betting Preview

The 2023 Wells Fargo Championship is another Elevated Event with a $20 million prize pool. World No. 1 Jon Rahm and No. 2 Scottie Scheffler are taking the week off. But 21 of the top players in the world golf rankings are teeing it up at Quail Hollow, including 3-time event winner and World No. 3 Rory McIlroy. My golf coverage is limited this week, but I did chip in some insight and Wells Fargo Championship preview along with dark horse picks for FanDuel.

Hard to argue with McIlroy’s success and chances, but his odds are too low and there are better ways to bet.

Note last year’s 2022 Wells Fargo Championship event was held at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in Maryland, and Max Homa won. He also won the 2019 event at Quail Hollow.
