Andy Benoit, 26, is an NFL analyst for the New York Times and Football Outsiders. He has also worked for CBSSports.com and has contributed to NBC Sports, USA Today, Sports Network and a variety of NFL magazines and websites.

Andy began writing the NFL preview book series Touchdown as a summer hobby at age 11. Over the years, the project evolved from scrapbook (’97-’02) to self-publication (’03-’04) to national publication (Random House ’05-’06) to NFLTouchdown.com.

In addition to written commentary and analysis, Andy has appeared on numerous television and radio programs, including ESPN, ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox Sports, NPR and Sirius. He is also a frequent panelist on the NFL Films Top 10 Shows series.

Andy graduated with a business degree from the College of Idaho and currently resides in Boise.
