Valspar Championship 2023 Betting Final Round

The final round of the 2023 Valspar Championship betting sets up for a close finish. I was busy with NCAA Basketball and March Madness in my research and coverage this past week, including for Forbes, OSGA, FanDuel and others. I did chip-in a Valspar Championship betting preview for Forbes.

I posted more NCAA Tournament coverage here at Vegas Sports Zone, including regional profiles of the top teams with stats, KenPom data and more. That includes the South Region with No. 2 Arizona an opening round loser along with another shocker when East Region Purdue went down as a No. 1 seed to a No. 16 in the opening round.

But here is the leaderboard and odds heading into the final round. Odds from SuperBook Las Vegas.

Valspar Championship Betting Final Round 4 Odds

Pre-tournament odds to win:

  • Schenk: +12500
  • Spieth: +1400
  • Fleetwood: +2500
  • Moore: +5000
  • Simpson: +15000
  • Clark: +3500
  • Gribble: +50000

Round 4 Matchup

Spieth’s Texas Longhorn teammate Cody Gribble (+2500) is worth a bet to win the tournament. I took him at +2900 (Circa). He sits 2-shots off the lead, and tops the field thus far in strokes gained Putting, and is T-4 in total strokes gained.

  • I bet Gribble (+138) over Kizzire (Circa).

You can review more golf data stats as interested for the Valspar and other PGA tournaments.

I cashed in a tournament match-up with Tommy Fleetwood (-120) over Brian Harman, who missed the cut. I have win bets on dark horse Fleetwood (26/1), Jaeger and big longshot Hickok (115/1), who sh*t his pants Saturday with a 77 to fall from T-2 just 1-shot off the lead on Friday to T-35 into final round.

Last week’s Player Championship betting was a good one with Tommy Fleetwood also winning our posted tournament match-up. Unfortunately, he went from T-4 and in the mix into the final round to a T-26 after a final round 76 (+4).

Next week it’s the WGC Match Play event at Austin C.C. in Texas. We’ll be reviewing the brackets, match-ups and betting opportunities after an ugly opening round match win on Spieth over Bradley last year.

You can bet on it.
