Against All Odds: Vegas Golden Knights And ‘Valiant’ Documentary Is An Emotional Victory
“Not in a million years did we think they would make the playoffs,” William Hill US Director of Trading Nick Bogdanovich said prior to the 2018 playoffs.
William Hill took 183 bets on the Golden Knights to win the 2018 Stanley Cup at 150/1 and another 36 at 200/1, the largest of those being a $100 that would have paid $20,000.
The Knights were a Golden ticket, once 500-1 to win the Stanley Cup at the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas in May, 2017 and from 200-1 to 300-1 at many sportsbooks closer to the start of the season. The SuperBook took 13 bets on the Golden Knights at 500-1 odds to win the 2018 Stanley Cup.
“Being a Knight means that you’re a hero to somebody. And that you’re Valiant.”

Valiant is the remarkable story of the Vegas Golden Knights defying the odds, and the teams impact on the city and community outreach. The documentary film transcends so much more than a story of sports. “Valiant” brings more meaning to a community, and of a longshot that delivered.
Vegas Born. Vegas Strong.
“Valiant” is a best bet.
