Just 39 players in this year’s expanded field, which includes PGA Tour winners in 2022 plus TOUR Championship finalists (top 30).

Tournament Longshot

Sungjae Im has finished T-8 and T-5 in his two appearances in the Tournament of Champions, and shot at least -20 under par in both events. Im led the field in strokes-gained tee-to-green on his 2021 debut in the event. He’s remained consistently strong across the board, is playing well the end 2022 and had three runner-up finishes to close into the FedEx Cup Playoffs. The 24-year-old South Korean has gained strokes putting in seven straight events, and if his putter performs well, Sungjae Im is a main contender.
