The purse for the $3 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational isn’t the only thing that is dropping. So too are the best horses and race favorites after Spun to Run and Omaha Beach were scratched from the richest early-season horse races.

Ten runners will go into the gate Saturday, Jan. 25 at Gulfstream Park for the Pegasus World Cup with Higher Power (5-2) and Mucho Gusto (7-2) now the favorites.
