Raiders-Rams 2024 NFL Week 7 Preview And Picks

Weekend update and coverage of Raiders-Rams 2024 NFL Week 7 contest at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

The Las Vegas Raiders traded WR Davante Adams to the New York Jets this week. The organization is still struggling in so many ways, but they also added Tom Brady as minority owner.

My Week 7 NFL underdog picks are posted, and does not include the Raiders-Rams 2024 Week 7 game. No interest in the Rams, who are off a bye week but laying inflated points and rising. But the Raiders lack cohesion, continuity and a running game, so we’ll pass and only Lean the Raiders way.

The Week 1 winner on the Chargers over the Raiders is long past as we’ve struggled on Picks and Opinions for Raiders games since.

It’s our 8th year posting NFL Underdog picks only at OSGA and Vegas Sports Zone with nearly 57% ATS and our 200th.

Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Rams

Spread: Rams (-7), Game total 43.5
Lean: Raiders and Under

Raiders-Panthers 2024Each week’s Raiders roundup and picks/opinions are separate, unless mentioned otherwise. This week it’s just a Lean on the Raiders.

The Raiders went from a 4-point ‘Dog to +5.5 to now +7.

Rushing Stats To Produce Profit

A bright spot for the Raiders this season is rookie No. 1 pick, TE Brock Bowers. Pro Football Focus notes that Bowers leads all NFL pass-catchers with 32 receptions against zone coverage, and his 295 receiving yards rank 11th overall, the most among tight ends. The Rams have struggled in zone coverage this season, sitting last in the NFL with 13.1 yards per reception allowed.

NFL teams that win the game SU when the point spread is -6 or less are 63-8-2 ATS this season. It was greater than 90% last season at 148-15-3 ATS (where else would you get that info).

Fairways Football Forecast has misfired badly the last two weeks on our underdog picks. Now hitting nearly 57% ATS the past 7+ seasons including a 70% season in 2021 going 28-12 ATS. Last season our underdog picks went 11-1 in December, including 7-0 in Week 14 plus a push on the Raiders. Following a 10-3 ATS start this season, we’re now 10-9 ATS and continue to shoot for more birdies and green on the gridion while also evaluating the Las Vegas Raiders matchup and game each week.
