Phoenix Open Odds 2024 Preview And Picks
It’s Super Bowl week, and a big one here in Las Vegas for the first ever Big Game in Vegas. The PGA Tour pros are teeing it up at TPC Scottsdale for the WM Phoenix Open. I chip-in Phoenix Open odds 2024 and betting preview and picks in my preview in Forbes, and more information you can bet on below.
The third Signature Event of 2024 on the PGA Tour, but this one’s with ‘just’ and $8.8 million prize pool with $1.6 million to the winner. Some big names have withdrawn including Viktor Hovland and Xander Schauffele. Plus, no Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay, Tony Finau or last week’s Pebble Beach Pro-Am runner-up Ludvig Aberg. We did cash-in on Pebble Beach on a tournament matchup winner along with Wyndham Clark, who we covered ahead of the final round and also tweeted to bet him prior to the end of Round 3 with severe weather ahead. The PGA Tour ended up calling the event after 54 holes, and Clark was the winner.
I’m also attending LIV Golf Las Vegas with the LIV Golf League and it’s 54-hole tournament and team format playing at Las Vegas Country Club just off the famed Las Vegas Strip. I add more coverage with odds of LIV Golf Las Vegas in Forbes. Note that 54 players, and 13 teams of four golfers, compete for a $25 million prize pool with the individual winner getting $4 million and the team winners splitting $3 million.

Chip-in for tournament additional match-up picks.
Of course 2x defending champion Scottie Scheffler is a major threat again, and his supporting stats make him the favorite, but not interested at very low odds of less than 5/1!
There may be fewer tournament matchup picks posted in 2024 with coverage across various platforms. I’ll try to add more picks and props and update more coverage as time allows and I dig deeper into strokes gained stats and weekly tournaments. Reach me directly at [email protected] for questions and select picks I bet on beyond what’s posted here.
Next week it’s The Genesis Invitational at famed Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, CA, where we cashed in with another winning tournament winner underdog style on Tony Finau in 2022. Tiger Woods makes his 2024 PGA Tour debut as host of the tournament.

More than a decade ago I was a lead golf handicapper and analyst on a popular sports handicapping radio show out of Las Vegas whose picks were provided to a betting syndicate. I continue my golf coverage in a different format, and provide my experience and intuitive feel for the game and betting acumen to provide golf picks and chip-in added insight with information you can bet on.
This season, I’ll again shoot to add more Round 1 matchup bets.
