NFL Monday Night Football Week 11 Texans-Cowboys Picks And Props

The Monday Night Football Week 11 feature is the AFC South first place Houston Texans (6-3) at the disappointing Dallas Cowboys (3-6) in the NFC East. I provide a betting preview with player props and information you can bet on in my MNF update at Forbes.

The Cowboys are winless at home this season and on a current 0-4 straight up and against the spread (ATS) run. The Texans have lost two in a row and three of their last four games, and are laying 7-points on the road. That’s how bad the Cowboys have been, with zero TD’s and 10 turnovers in their last two home games. Dallas will also play their second straight game without QB Dak Prescott, who is out for the season and having surgery on his hamstring.

  • Houston Texans (-7.5) at Dallas Cowboys, game total 41 / 41.5 points

I added the Cowboys to our NFL underdog picks, which lost in Week 11. I also bet under the game total, and so much more stats, betting data and player prop in my coverage in Forbes.

Player Props

  • Cowboys RB Rico Dowdle Over 2.5 or 3.5 (+140) receptions

Dowdle has been named the new lead running back moving forward starting with Monday Night Football Week 11, and his snap share and targets should increase. He had 3 targets and 3 receptions versus the Eagles last week in a blowout loss, but even 6/5 vs. the Falcons and Lions in more recent games. New Cowboys QB Cooper Rush will be more comfortable utilizing Dowdle out of the backfield against the Texans top-3 DVOA defense and pressure rate. Less scoring than expected with the Cowboys healthier defense as well (under) combined with the Texans bottom-tier offensive line and pass blocking.

The player prop picks posted on these NFL betting preview pages at Forbes have been scoring and cashing in Week 4Week 5Week 6Week 7Week 8Week 9 and Week 10.
