Over 400 Super Bowl Props Released in Las Vegas
We’ve been preparing for the Super Bowl prop bets with our recent playoff prop plays and advance Super Bowl 51 total bet. Quarterback Matt Ryan delivered for us in the Falcons 36-20 playoff win over the Seahawks, and then he and the high-flying Falcons offense continued to soar leading Atlanta to Super Bowl 51 vs. the New England Patriots. Ryan was stellar again passing for 392 yards and 4 TDs as the Falcon’s No. 1 offense led the way to a 44-21 pounding of the Packers in the NFC Championship game.
Super Bowl prop bets continue to gain popularity, and the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas will release over 400 prop bets today for the Falcons and Patriots showdown in Super Bowl. 51. The sports books have taken a beating thus far in the playoffs, but the Super Bowl will make the house money with over 50% of the handle bet on the proposition bets.
The Falcons and Packers game featured a record playoff posted total of 60.5. Bettors continued to bet the ‘over’ and the Falcons offensive juggernaut continued to deliver. Atlanta games have now gone over the total in 15 of their 18 games this season, and we saw an opportunity to get ahead of the projected Super Bowl total by recommending an advance play of ‘over’ 54 prior to the conference championship games. Sure enough, the sports books opened the Super Bowl total at 59, and we have a little early betting interest on the Falcons and Patriots Super Bowl with an advance wager ‘over’ 54.
Here is the article, and brief paragraph below that I posted at Off Shore Gaming Association (osga), where I provide sports and gaming insight.
However, regardless of the Super Bowl match-up, we’re very likely to see a shootout at NRG Stadium in Houston for Super Bowl 51. The match-ups suggest such, and there will be tons of props and high player yardage totals ‘taxed’ and posted by the bookmakers. I already bet the Super Bowl ‘over’ 54 points, and anticipate that total rising. So you can get a head start and likely the best number now by betting over 54 and hope no QBs or other key offensive performers or lineman are injured in the conference championship games.
As bettors gear up for Super Bowl 51 prop bets, know that there will be plenty of additional wagering interests beyond just the outcome of the game between the Falcons and Patriots, who are favored by 3-points. New England will try to buck the recent trend that has seen the Super Bowl favorite go 0-5 SU and ATS in the last 5 Super Bowls.
Last year we had a Top Play total winner for members and a outright ‘Dog winner in Denver’s 24-10 crushing of Carolina. This year’s game should provide plenty of points and entertainment with offense taking center stage.
Plenty of weird stuff to bet on in Super Bowl 51, but we’ll be evaluating the stats and looking at the player match-ups and props in search of more opportunities and value.
