NFL 2023 Week 3 Underdog Picks And Preview

Week 3 of NFL action has just two division games, and we’re still considering one of them as a home underdog for our 2023 Week 3 underdog picks when the New York Jets (+2.5) host the winless New England Patriots. Jets QB Zach Wilson didn’t offer New York fans or bettors much hope in last weeks 30-10 loss at Dallas. The Jets offense had 4 turnovers including 3 INT’s by Wilson, who was just 12/27 passing for 170 yards. Now he faces a New England team in which Wilson is 0-4 with a high interception rate (6.6%) against a master HC Bill Belichick who disguises coverages and has most often causes young quarterbacks mistakes.

Our format change with posting weekly underdog picks, opinions and considerations on Wednesday’s at Off Shore Gaming Association allows us to provide more thoughts and opinions on additional games in case you’re considering those games as comparison as well. Those Week 1 opinons and considerations went 6-2 ATS and we had the Lions as a pick and bet +6.5 before the Kelce injury news but couldn’t get posted at OSGA with a contact management issue and didn’t include as official picks. All final Picks are added Friday following injury reports, and periodically others over the weekend. Those games not listed would be Leans if we had any, but we also bet other games, totals, halftimes and add other Picks as needed ahead of Sunday games when we also live bet.

The line moves are always worth monitoring, and trying to get ahead of, but we don’t control market moves. We did get the Vikings +7 for Thursday Night Football at Philadelphia and Bears (+3) at Tampa Bay Sunday. Those lines are now Eagles -6 and Bucaneers -2.5. The Raiders are also down to +8.5 at Buffalo and Jaguars up a half point to +3.5 at home vs the KC Chiefs. The NY Giants are down to -4 at Arizona, and Seahawks +5 at Detroit and trending down.

We enter Week 3 at 4-3 ATS with 3 outright winners to start the season after last week’s 1-2 Week 2 result where we left off a winner on the Colts and discussed in our updates. The 6-year record posting only NFL underdog picks is now 166-120 ATS (58.1%) with 95 outright underdog winners. That includes a 70% season in 2021 going 28-12 ATS with 21 outright winners.

Denver (+6.5/7) at Miami – Broncos Moneyline +240
