Key MLB Series And 2024 Baseball Odds In July

As MLB teams head into July and the halfway point of the baseball season arrives the first week followed by the All-Star Game, here are the MLB division records, top teams and matchups along with Circa Sports odds for most wins in July. Adjusted futures odds are added to compare, and understand in the most wins market that number of games for each teams vary in the month. The tiebreaker for most wins is fewest games played in the month.

The Yankees were passed by Baltimore for best record in the AL East and American League into the final day of June. The Orioles have the most wins (17) in June in MLB into final day of month, and Baltimore was +2500 to win most games at Circa Sports. The Orioles are now +950 in July, while Mets are +850 after +30000, or 300/1 odds for most wins in June and winning 16 games while playing just 25 games to Orioles 29. The Astros were the other contender with 16 wins into final day and also moving up in the standings like the Mets. The Dodgers were the favorite for most wins in June, and have 16 in just 24 games while holding the biggest division lead in baseball at 7.5 games. The Dodgers were +300 for most wins in June, and now +1100 most wins in July

I’ll update records following June 30 results, and other stats and information you can bet on.

The New York Yankees had 14 series victories in 18 tries (14-2-2) into June before finishing 3-6 in June series after sweeping the first two of the month (now 17-8-2 series YTD). The Yankees lost their final five series in June and went 3-10 as betting favorites since June 13. The Mariners continue to lead the AL West, and Seattle has 18 one-run victories this season – most in MLB. The Philadelphia Phillies have the best record in baseball, but go from +800 for most wins in June to +2200 in July going 14-11 in June with one game to go and play 24 games in July with a tougher schedule including against the Bravers, Dodgers, Yankees, Guardians and Twins.

MLB game and futures odds refresh periodically and are subject to change, including on props and live betting. See select sportsbooks that offer MLB series odds, team totals, game and player props, alternate runs and more. MLB adjusted odds as of July 1.

+25000: Washington Nationals

Looking at my MLB preseason coverage that included futures odds and season win totals, the National League‘s Philadelphia Phillies are the biggest movers among the favorites with World Series odds dropping from +1500 to +500 and now +550. The Dodgers (+320) remain the favorites to win the World Series, and note the huge payrolls of the top teams and favorites. The Mets have the highest payroll, and have moved back into Wild Card contention just 1-game behind the Cardinals for final WC while New York is still at +10000, or 100/1 odds to win the World Series. The Dodgers (103.5) and Braves (101.5) had the highest season win totals while the Mets (80.5) moving to .500 and the Brewers (77.5) are cruising and 15-games over .500. The Phillies (89.5) will also sail over their season win total but the Miami Marlins (77.5) are a major disappointment at 30-54 to close June.

In the American League, the Yankees (90.5) and Orioles (91.5) are on their way to ecliple their preseason season win totals with the Guardians (79.5) the biggest early-season surprise exceeding expectations. Cleveland’s odds to win the World Series are down from 65/1 to 20/1 and now +1400 to start July at BetOnline as you compare futures odds at leading online sportsbooks. The Houston Astros (92.5) made a move in June going 16-8 to finish the month just above .500, yet their odds to win the World Series go from +1200 to start June to +2200 on July 1. American League West rival and World Series champions Texas Rangers (88.5) continue to underachieve well below .500 and odds falling while the LA Angels WTF moment hiring retread 71-year-old Ron Washington as manager is baffling. The Phillies continue to lead the majors with best record and now +550 to win the World Series, and behind the Dodgers (+320) and Yankees (+450) with NL East rival Braves (+900) a major contender with the Orioles (+900). The Twins (+2200) and Brewers (+2200) are moving up as contenders, while the Cardinals (+5000) and Red Sox (+5500) saw their odds cut in half to start July.

Follow along and compare the futures and season win totals and monitor the team schedules, injuries and key series as the leading online sportsbooks adjust the odds and post daily MLB odds and matchups throughout the 2024 MLB season.
