Get Fit With Fairway – My Commitment To Better Health And Well-Being
Back in 2009, I wrote an article titled ‘From Fat to Fit with Fairway‘. I chronicled my commitment to better health and well-being along with my ‘get fit with Fairway’ diet and fitness routine. I discussed the impact of better health and fitness and the effects on your personal and professional life. Since that time I’ve dealt with some personal setbacks and battles while dealing with some very corrupt and destructive people and processes in Las Vegas.
Through it all, I’ve had to find emotional acceptance and become even mentally stronger. To do so I also re-dedicated myself to physical and mental health knowing the importance of eating better and taking care of your body to allow yourself to function and perform better. In doing so, you’re able to stay sharp and control stress while attaining peak performance at work and in your daily life more consistently.
You may have seen some of my social media messages about my High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T.) and swimming pool workouts in Las Vegas. For the past 17-straight months, I’ve committed myself to multiple weekly H.I.I.T. workouts of 60 minutes and sometimes up to 90 minute sessions. In addition, I’ve added pool workouts and resistant training during the summer and fall months. Through a disciplined and dedicated approach to eating better, healthier and maintaining a strong fitness regimen, I’ve got myself in a better place physically, mentally and emotionally. That doesn’t mean there aren’t setbacks or daily distractions, as all of us suffer and work through those daily dilemmas.

But by maintaining my physical and emotional health, I’m able to give myself a better chance and often an edge. Whether it’s my personal growth or professional life as a sports analyst, handicapper, writer, consultant, advisor, bettor or poker player, that’s the advantage I’m looking for in my daily pursuit of profit and well-being.
As you work to get yourself in a better place, try taking care of yourself with a determined and dedicated approach to your personal health and well-being. I think you’ll find the results not only more satisfying, but you’ll feel better and become healthier so you function better in your daily life. As you help people in their business or personal daily lives, you’ll encourage them to do better and be positive, and you’ll have set the example in your own disciplined and dedicated approach to improve yourself and your health.
