Game Day College Football in Morgantown Arizona-West Virginia

It’s Game Day at Milan Puskar Stadium and Mountaineer Field in Morgantown with Week 6 of the 2026 college football season. Check out my college football Top 25 coverage and on-site today for the West Virginia Mountaineers vs. Arizona Wildcats Big 12 battle.

Arizona (-3.5) at West Virginia

Plenty of scoring expected with a game total of 60.5 points. More Arizona-West Virgjnia preview and Mountaineer beat writer coverage.

Quite a college football environment and atmosphere in Morgantown to support the Mountaineers, who lead the country in rushing averaging 288 yards per game. West Virginia (3-2, 0-2 Big 12) faces a tougher defense of Arizona (4-1/1-1), who is allowing just 19 points per game.

But the Wildcats are without three starting defenders (DT, LB, DB) this week including a top linebacker Max Harris, who misses his second-straigh game (undisclosed, eligibilty). On offense, Arizona is shorthanded at receiver with their top three receivers and tight end out. That included Chris Hunter (leg/hamstring) and Tre Spivey, who is now out for the season after suffering a broken foot in last week’s win over Cincinnati.
