Top Shooting Teams in Each Conference

The race to conference titles and post season positioning is turning to the home stretch with just 2-3 weeks remaining in the regular season.  There is so much to evaluate and analyze in our point spread prognosis and I spend endless hours studying stats, evaluating situations and understanding motivation, letdown, revenge, home court and coaching strengths and weaknesses.  Along with fundamental match-ups and impact of injuries, the evaluation and pursuit of profit never ends.

As you continue to evaluate offensive and defensive stats and try to interpret the data and project performance, be sure you evaluate current form but also understand the impact of such on the adjusted betting line.  Near Valentine’s Day there is more love and attention paid to the attractive, highly-ranked hotties than the hard-trying ugly ‘Dog, and the linemaker knows which you prefer.  Thus, the price to pay is often not worth the risk.  Keep that in mind with all the love in the air the next few days.

Below are the top 3-5 shooting teams in each conference – from 11 top conferences.  I’ve outlined FG% as the primary stat for top-3 status and also included 3-point shooting and how many 3-point attempts each team averages in league play.
