Chiefs And Bills Props You Can Bet On In AFC Championship
The Kansas City Chiefs (-3) tackle the Buffalo Bills in the 2021 AFC Championship game on Sunday, Jan. 24. The Chiefs and Bills winner will play in Super Bowl LV against the Packers and Buccaneers winner.
As I reported for FanDuel, the betting data is supporting the Chiefs with 57% of the spread bets and 62% of the money wagered (handle) on Kansas City.
The bets and money supporting the Chiefs has increased since Friday when it was announced QB Patrick Mahomes cleared concussion protocol and will play.
I’ve covered the Conference Championship games with betting market data and additional information you can bet on in my updates at Forbes, TheLines, Offshore Gaming Association and FanDuel.
In addition, I chipped-in some totals props for FanDuel and TheDuel Sports. Here are 3 prop bets for the Chiefs and Bills game and alternate options to betting pre-game and player props. Analysis in the link with one listed below.
1. Alternate Total OVER 60.5 (+200)
Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes seems likely to be cleared from concussion protocol to make this play. Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire’s return would help but not be as critical. These are the two most productive offenses in the AFC. The Chiefs average 417 yards per game and 29 points per game while the Bills average 386 yards and 30 points. That includes the playoffs this season. Despite the Bills’ worst offensive performance coming in a 26-17 home loss to the Chiefs in Week 6, the rematch looks like a high-scoring game. See the Chiefs’ two games against the Raiders as your guide when both teams scored at least 30 points in those contests, and similar in the Chiefs-Panthers game. Watch the Kansas City weather before making your bets. Buffalo will keep attacking a suspect Chiefs defense, and the Chiefs No. 1 offense and pass offense will have similar success again as it did in piling up 466 yards in the Week 6 win at Buffalo.
2. First Half Total OVER 26.5 (+100)
3. Spread / Total Points Parlay Chiefs -2.5 and OVER 54.5 (+260)
We’ve make our case for a higher scoring game. Now it’s which team will win. if Mahomes starts, that’s Chiefs. If you prefer the Bills and like the over and analysis, then you can parlay the Bills (+2.5) and over and get +300 odds.
