Alabama And Georgia To Settle 2022 College Football National Championship
The 2022 college football national championship game and rematch has arrived, and the Georgia Bulldogs are a -2.5 point favorite over the Alabama Crimson Tide at BetMGM and -3 at Caesars Sportsbook. The total is 52.5.

2022 College Football National Championship
I made a small bet on Georgia and lean the Bulldogs way to win the national championship game. You can lay -2.5 for the game or -0.5 in the 1st half.
You can read more college football national championship coverage in my update at Forbes. It includes some massive wagers including $2.7 million by “Mattress Mack” on Alabama moneyline. I also include insight and analysis from respected handicapper Dr. Bob with math models and stats to review on Georgia and Alabama.
Thanks to a couple monster wagers, Caesars Sportsbook has altered the moneyline to Georgia at -135 and Alabama at +115.
“I would say this national championship will have the biggest handle for us for any football game so far this season, college or pro,” said Adam Pullen, Assistant Director of Trading at Caesars Sportsbook. “If you throw in that New York action, which has been pretty incredible, it just adds so much money into the pot.”
Alabama is a remarkable 112-13 versus SEC opponents since 2008, and head coach Nick Saban is 176-18 overall at Alabama including 5-0 SU/ATS as underdog. Saban is also 25-1 SU and 16-10 ATS versus his former assistant coaches who became head coaches. Saban’s coaching tree is also tremendous, and he’s 4-0 SU versus one of them, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart.
Even with all that including Alabama’s 2021 Heisman Trophy winner, QB Bryce Young, I lean Georgia’s way in the redemption rematch to win the national championship.
