Wynn Race and Sports Book
Seats:200 seats in the race and sports book and connected sports lounge,
Screens: Over 30 plasmas and 3 big screens
The plush and lavish Wynn lives up to its reputation as one of Vegas’ best hotel/casinos with an impressive sports book that goes the extra mile with luxury and style. You will be hard pressed to find a classier spot to watch all of the sports action, with décor and comfort that is up there with other top Vegas sports books.
The accomodations at the Wynn sports book are ultra comfortable but seats are at a definite premium during busy sports days. There is a sports book host (the only Vegas sports book that provides this service) that does a great job finding appropriate seating for you, however priority is given to hotel guests.
The service at the Wynn is impeccable, from the sports book host to the cocktail servers, you will feel right at home. One knock is the drink tickets – there is a minimum $20 bet requirement for horse racing and scoring a drink ticket for a sports bet will vary. However, like in any other spot, a tip to the ticket writer is always helpful in scoring drink tickets. Once you go up to the same ticket writer a few times, the drink tickets will start getting thrown your way regardless of the bet amount.
Odds and Ends: Zoozacrackers, located directly adjacent to the sports book, has excellent deli style offerings (the Cobb salad is a Vegas Parlay favorite). On top of the great food, they will bring your order directly to your sports book seat in very short order. Another reason why the Wynn sports book is one of the best. If its breakfast or a morning latte you are after, the specialty coffee and pastry offerings at the adjacent Drugstore Café (don’t let the strange name fool you) will do just fine.
