MLB 2026 League Championship Series Previews And Picks
The MLB Playoffs Wild Card and Divisional Round are complete and four teams are left to determine the American League and National League Pennant winners in the MLB 2026 League Championship Series. The ALCS and NLCS previews feature some of the top starting pitchers in baseball which was part of our Divisional Round preview. Game 1 of the NL and begins on Sunday, Oct. 11 in Milwaukee. The Brewers soon to be 2026 NL Cy Young winner Jacob Misiorowski opens the NLCS against the Los Angeles Dodgers and 2024 and 2025 AL Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal.
The ALCS begins Monday with the Cleveland Guardians traveling to Tampa to take their swings against the Rays. Guardian’s Ace Gavin Williams led Cleveland to a decisive ALDS Game 5 win over the White Sox 2-0 Saturday with 5.2 innings, 1 hit and 12 K’s. He’ll likely start Game 3 in Cleveland on Thursday, Oct. 15 of the ALCS MLB 2026 League Championship Series.

Recall last season the Brewers and Dodgers played in the NLCS. The Dodgers went on to sweep the series (4-0) as a -180 NLCS favorite outscoring the Brewers 15-4 with Milwaukee scoring just 1 run in all four games. Los Angeles then won the World Series for the second-straight year beating the Toronto Blue Jays in 7-games.
