The college football 2026 Week 6 schedule includes three Top 25 matchups, plus the annual big game betting battle between unranked Oklahoma and No. 1 Texas in the Red River Rivalry in Dallas. Georgia at Alabama – Stats and more analysis by Friday. Weather update: A potential hurricane (Isaias) could force changes to Saturday night’s big SEC game in Tuscaloosa. The weather threat could force a time change from the scheduled 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff. Top online sportsbooks have adjusted the total as the betting market has reacted. The game total has fallen from 57 to 52.5 points with the Crimson Tide a 1.5 to 2-point home favorite.
UCLA at Oregon – Both the Bruins and Ducks enter rested and ready off a bye, and looking up at six teams in the Big Ten standings. Oregon (3-1/1-0 Big Ten) suffered the surprising loss at now Top 25 Oklahoma State as a 24-point favorite. UCLA (4-0/2-0) continues to impress in coach Bob Chesney‘s first season in Westwood. The Bruins defense is allowing less than 19 points per game, and UCLA’s offense ranks top 10 averaging 486 yards per game (Oregon 427). UCLA has beaten all four opponents by at least 14 points including their recent blowout win at Maryland, 54-3.
Indiana at Nebraska – A battle of unbeatens in college football 2026 Week 6 with both teams 5-0 and tied on top of the Big Ten at 2-0 with UCLA, Minnesota, Ohio State and Wisconsin. This is Indiana’s first road game, and it will be an electric atmosphere in Lincoln with 85,000+ fans supporting Big Red and FOX Sports Big Noon kickoff adding to the big game coverage.
Sunny skies and mid-80’s temps with big watch and wager action with the nation’s best sellout streak (Nebraska, 411 consecutive games) against the team with the longest winning streak in college football in defending national champion Indiana.
Nebraska has won all five games this season by at least 18 points including 31-13 at Michigan State and last week’s dominant second half to maul Maryland, 48-23. The Hoosiers run the ball 59% of the time and 37 carries per game for 242 yards per game. Nebraska 53% rushes, 38 rushing attempts per game for 220 yards per game, also top 10 in the country.
Nebraska is averaging 46 points per game (top 3 behind Georgia and Alabama) at 6.5 yards per play vs. FBS opponents and Indiana 41.5 ppg with a Power 4 conference-best 7.6 yards per play. The Cornhuskers defense allows 16 ppg and Indiana 13.5 ppg, both top 15 in the country.
Defensive yards allowed are nearly even at 281/283 and 4.4/4.5 yards per play. Both teams defenses are top 25 in opponents yards per point with Indiana a bit better while playing a softer schedule thus far. Indian’s best win was 29-23 over Northwestern as a 20.5 point favorite in a game they led just 15-13 early in the 4th quarter. Indiana did dominated the line of scrimmage and held the Wildcats to 33 rushing yards and 325 total yards.
Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades Nebraska as having the No. 17 offense and No. 61 defense in the country. Indiana’s schedule ranks 105th in the PFF NCAA Power Rankings. The Hoosier’s rank No. 2 in the FBS in both offensive EPA per play (0.37) and points per drive (3.67). Indiana has also been excellent defensively, tying for 14th in EPA allowed per play (-0.17) and ranking fourth in points allowed per drive (0.87).
