Tour Championship 2026 Odds And Golf Betting Preview And Picks For FedExCup Playoffs

The FedExCup Playoffs conclude in Atlanta with just 30 PGA pros shooting for the FedExCup at East Lake Golf Club. The field has been trimmed down from 50 players after Wyndham Clark (-17) won last week’s BMW Championship. Check out the players, odds, course and stats along with select picks and information you can bet on for the Tour Championship 2026 FedExCup Playoffs event.

Clark was offered at 28/1 to win the BMW Championship at top online sportsbooks, including BetOnline. A few other players emerged from outside the top 30/40 last week to finish strong and move into the top 30, including runner-up Patrick Cantlay (-14), Gary Woodland (-12) and Robert McIntyre (-10), who finished T7 after disclosing he’s been dealing with an knee injury since May.

Players who just missed out on the Top 30 for the Tour Championship 2026 tournament include Kurt Kitayama (30), J.T. Poston, Rickie Fowler, Bud Cauley, Nicolai Hojgaard, Alex Noren and Sungjae Im, who had moved into the Top 30 during BMW’s final round but came up just short with a T10 finish. Those players and others who finished Top 50 in the FedExCup Standings secures a spot in all lucrative Signature Events for the following season, and lock up full-field PGA Tour status and entry into The Players Championship.

Notable players who were just outside the top 50 include Keith Mitchell (51), Jordan Spieth, Max Homa, Harris English, Shane Lowery, Harry Hall, Corey Conners and Daniel Berger. Those players and others up to the top 70 lock up their full PGA Tour cards for the next season and carry their accumulated points into the FedExCup Fall series.

Finishing in the Top 30 of the FedExCup earns players a 2-year PGA Tour membership exemption, automatic entry into next season’s major championships (including the Masters), and guaranteed spots in all lucrative Signature Events for the following year.

East Lake Golf Club, Stats and Results

East Lake Golf Club has hosted the Tour Championship since 2004. The course went through a complete restoration (video) ahead of the 2024 Tour Championship by golf architect Andrew Green. The renovated course will play to 7,440 yards for the PGA pros, and par 70 with hole 14 previously a par 5 and now a 530-yard par 4. Firm Zoysia fairways are in play for the third straight week in this year’s FedExCup Playoffs, along with near average Tour-size greens (6,238 sq ft). Water is in play on eight holes with 78 sand bunkers.

Scheffler Battling Viral Illness

Scottie Scheffler disclosed he picked up a hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD) from one of his children following his FedEx St. Jude Championship victory. He decided to play through blisters and pain in the BMW Championship, but shot an opening round 72 (+2) before recoving to finish T12. We’re monitoring more ahead of tournament matchups and daily matchup picks, which will be provided Wednesday.

Scheffler was the prohibitive +150 favorite in last year’s Tour Championship followed by McIlroy (+800), Aberg (+1600), Cantlay (+2500) and eventual winner Tommy Fleetwood (+2500).
