Travelers Championship 2026 Golf Preview And Picks
Following the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills and Wyndham Clark‘s second U.S. Open victory, the top PGA Tour pros head to Cromwell, CT for the Travelers Championship 2026 tournament. I provide a full Travelers Championship preview with odds, stats, picks and information you can bet on for the Signature Event and Major Championships at Off Shore Gaming Association.
A select field of 72 golfers is set to make birdies in bunches in the eighth and final Signature Event at Pete Dye’s TPC River Highlands. The superb fan support is part of the watch and wager action that provided thunderous roars in support of New Englander Keegan Bradley on his way to winning the 2023 Travelers at greater than 75/1 odds. He won it again in 2025 by one stroke over Tommy Fleetwood and Russell Henley with 2021 champion Harris English another shot back. Now nearly every golfer ranked in the top 40 of the Official World Golf Rankings will take aim at TPC River Highlands this week and the top prize of $3.6 million. That includes past champions Scottie Scheffler (2024), Xander Schauffele (2022) and Jordan Spieth (2017), but not Rory McIlroy.
“The bond that you have with people from New England is different than anywhere in the world,” Bradley said during his winning week at the 2023 Travelers.

TPC River Highlands Stats
Data Golf notes that the course favors accuracy, often strongly, and strokes gained stats leaders are the best ball strikers and approach players with short irons from 125-175 yards. The 6,844 yard par 70 is one of the two shortest courses on Tour. Ten par 4’s play to less than 450 yards, and both par 5’s are reachable in two shots. The par 4 scoring leaders at TPC River Highlands over the past four editions include Keegan Bradley (1st) and Russell Henley (2nd) in 2025, Scottie Scheffler (1), Patrick Cantlay, Cameron Young and Brian Harman in 2024 with Harman finishing top 10 in seven of the last eight years of the Travelers Championship. Bradley and Harman were tops on par 4’s in 2023 while Xander Schauffele led the field in winning the 2022 event with J.T. Poston second in par 4 scoring.
As you consider adjusted odds betting during the Travelers Championship 2026 tournament, know that each of the last four winners were in 6th place or better after Round 1, and all were 7th or better after Round 2 with Bradley and Schauffle leading in 2023 and 2022 and Scheffler 2nd into Saturday in 2024. Harris English won in 2021 sitting 20th after Round 2, while Jordan Spieth went wire to wire leading all four rounds in winning the 2017 event.
Check out some of the top players golf stats and profiles from our U.S. Open preview and players as you shoot for more birdies and green at the Travelers Championship event.
One of the shortest courses on Tour with tree-lined fairways, positional play and solid strokes gained Approach and Off the Tee golf stats required. Premium Ball Striking and Birdies or Better Gained will allow those players to move up as they attack smaller than average (5,000 sq. ft) bentgrass greens.
PGA Tour New Two Series Model

Top 20 finish: Justin Thomas (+100), also available top 10 at +275.
Few matchups or odds/prices of interest this week after reviewing BetOnline, BookMaker and top online sportsbooks. But we’ll add Ben Griffin, as we’re higher on him, Justin Thomas and a few other players this week. Well take both those players in Round 1 matchups as ‘Dogs, along with Xander.
Check back or updates on X @FairwayJay for any round-by-round matchups.
Note: I don’t bet heavy favorites to win pre-tournament below 10/1 like Scheffler. Better to evaluate the odds round-by-round along with stats and other player comments from tournament play. Focus on the more profitable option of tournament and round-by-round matchups and other props including finishing position. Another way to get better odds on PGA futures and tournaments is to parlay in a 2-team moneyline, and adding an underdog of +150 or more like I did with MLB/Wyndham Clark in the U.S. Open, which paid off with a winner at effectively 119/1 odds.
Next week it’s the John Deer Classic followed by the Scottish Open. Then the final major of the year in England at The Open Championship, where Scheffler is the defending Champion Golfer of the Year. See more strokes gained golf stats plus player profiles from recent majors and U.S. Open as you evaluate tournaments and information you can bet on.
