The Memorial Tournament 2026 Golf Preview And Picks
The Memorial Tournament 2026 PGA Signature Event is headlined by 2-time defending champion and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who won the last two events at the Memorial with 278 and 280 scores, or -8 and -10 under par. An elite field of 72 golfers will take aim at Jack Nicklaus’ masterpiece at Muirfield Village Golf Club – a 7,569 yard Par 72 that features below average size bentgrass greens (5,000 sq. feet) surrounded by thicker rough, more tucked pins on undulating greens, and water hazards in play on 13 holes.

You can read more current coverage of the Memorial Tournament 2026 Signature Event at Off Shore Gaming Association, where I initially post my tournament previews and picks. Some of my past coverage of the Memorial Tournament in Forbes includes key stats and information you can bet on. For the Memorial Tournament 2026 event, I’ve included player odds, picks and props.
Additional details of the 2020 renovation by Nicklaus’ and his team at Muirfield Village Golf Club, and an aerial view of all 18 holes at Muirfield Village and hole-by-hole audio descriptions.
The Par 4’s at No. 18 and 10, along with the Par 3 at No. 16 are among the toughest scoring holes at Muirfield Village. Other golf stats and metrics to monitor (link) include the highest “Missed Fairway Penalty” and “Rough Penalty” on Tour, and among the tougher courses on Tour to gain Off the Tee, and tougher collection of Par 5’s since the 2020 renovation.

McIlroy, Fitzpatrick, Young, Schauffele, Cantlay Si Woo Kim and Henley rate out well in most models this week, along with the favorites I’ve chosen above.
Note: I don’t bet heavy favorites to win pre-tournament below 10/1 like Scheffler. Better to evaluate the odds round-by-round along with stats and other player comments from tournament play. Focus on the more profitable option of tournament and round-by-round matchups and other props including finishing position.
Next week it’s the Canadian Open followed by the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills and the final Signature Event of the year to close June at TPC River Highlands for the Travelers Championship. More golf betting opportunities and ways to win plus current form strokes gained stats plus player profiles ahead for more majors.
You can bet on it.
