Travelers Championship 2025 Odds and Picks
Following the U.S. Open and longshot JJ Spaun’s first major title and only golfer to finish under par at Oakmont CC, the select field of 72 players head to the New England area for the Travelers Championship 2025 tournament – the 8th and final PGA Tour Signature Event at TPC River Highlands.
The $20 million no-cut event ($3.6M to winner) has world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler as the favorite and defending champion, and the Signature Event link above has last year’s top-15 finishers and more, which I provided in my coverage for Forbes. Xander Schauffele and Keegan Bradley are also recent winners of the event, and players odds, picks and inforamation you can bet on are provided below.
The Travelers Championship 2025 tee times start early Thursday, and I provide some added insight with chip-ins from my colleague at Golf Stats with tournament previews and more insight for those that join.
TPC River Highlands
The most famous portion of the course, the three-hole stretch from 15 to 17, incorporates a four-acre lake affectionately dubbed the “Golden Triangle.” Those three holes and the 18th make up one of the top finishing stretches on the PGA Tour.
Holes 4 and 10 are the biggest challenge and often the most difficult scoring holes on the course.
Bentgrass fairways with bentgrass and a mix of Poa annua greens offer scoring opportunities for those that avoide the 5-6 inch rough and water on six holes.
TPC River Highlands yielded a 67.63 scoring average last year, making it the 40th hardest course (out of 50 on tour last year). The two previous years scores averaged 68.40 and 69.39 before it became a Signature Event with far less players in the field.

While I do bet outrights, finish position and more match-ups, I don’t always bet every player in my picks. But I do bet others that may be after I post and dig into more strokes gained stats and other performance indicators and players. It may be due to low odds, adjusted odds and I missed best number, or just trying to find other options in finishing position, match-ups and props. As I’m able to dig deeper and research and handicap more, I add others, including match-ups. Time constraints factor in, along with odds and value, which you should always be shooting for in your pursuit of profit, fairways and greens.
That’s what we did at last week’s U.S. Open, going 4-0-1 on our tournament matchup picks at OSGA, and adding more winners on these pages and hitting top finishing position bets. We just missed outrights on Hatton (85/1), Hovland (55/1) and Young (125/1) – all finishing top-5 with a chance to win and tied for lead in closing holes.
