Mountain West Championship UNLV-Boise State Winner To College Football Playoff

I don’t have a bet on the big game tonight in Boise, ID with freezing temps (near 30) for UNLV-Boise State. The Mountain West Championship Game sends the winner to the new 12-team College Football Playoff. Last week’s rivalry games shook up the CFP rankings, and UNLV can do the same with a MWC title game win with the winner getting the automatic Group of Five entry to the 12-team College Football Playoff.

College football conference championship weekend is filled with some major matchups with three on Friday including UNLV-Boise State and six on Saturday with three of those winners getting a first round bye in the CFP – Big Ten, SEC and ACC winners. If Boise State wins, they are the fourth team to get a bye, as they are ranked No. 10 and ahead of the current top team in the Big 12.
