Golf Course And Specs

Castle Pines Golf Course in Castle Rock, CO is a Par 72 course that plays to 8,130 yards (altitude) – longest ever on the PGA Tour. Located 30 miles South of Denver, the course has fast Bentgrass greens that are a bit below average size on the PGA Tour at 5,600 square feet. Players who hit the bentgrass and ryegrass fairways will have the best chance to score as the Kentucky ryegrass rough is at least 4 inches thick.

Castle Rock has 400 feet of elevation change with highest point at 6,400 feet above sea level. Jack Nicklaus designed the course in 1981 and he renovated the course in 2020 with assistance from Total Turf. Reimagined greens and tee complexes were part of the plan while still providing beautifully manicured landscape surrounded by towering pines and the stunning scenery of the Rocky Mountains.
