College World Series Odds And 2024 Baseball Schedule In Omaha

The College World Series begins in Omaha with eight teams competing for the national championship. My coverage in Forbes notes that the field is dominated by the SEC and ACC with four teams each led by No. 1 ranked Tennessee, the CWS favorite. The Volunteers will try to become the first No. 1 overall seed since Miami in 1999 to win the College World Series.

My college baseball coverage in Forbes also included the Super Regionals, which produced the eight winners advancing to the College World Series from the original Regional Round of 64 teams that set ratings records.
