PGA Odds And Bets At Harbour Town For RBC Heritage
A more relaxing week in Hilton Head following The Masters may also be a wet one for the PGA pros. Rain is in the forecast with at least a 65% chance on Thursday and Saturday for the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links. I cover the weekly events and provide early previews, course information, odds and information you can bet on each week at TheLines.
In this week’s betting preview at the RBC Heritage, defending champion Webb Simpson is now the slight favorite at some sportsbooks, while the SuperBook in Las Vegas has Dustin Johnson a co-favorite with Simpson.

Five of the top 10 players and 12 of the top 25 in the world golf rankings tee it up this week at Harbour Town on Hilton Head Island. I provide more course information and player information and odds, plus a weekly Golfers to Watch section which features 4-5 golfers outside the top favorites who can be considered for your win bets or top finishing position at lower odds. At the recent Valero Texas Open, our big longshot Golfer to Watch finished 3rd, and Matt Wallace (+11000) returned +1400 if you bet him top-5.
This week I chipped in some huge longshots like Chase Seiffert (+30000), Tom Hoge (+22000), Matthew NeSmith (+20000), along with Kevin Kisner (+6000) and Paul Casey (+3000). Of course, outright and finishing position odds vary at different sportsbooks, and the odds I post are from research at the U.S. sportsbooks listed which has the best odds for that player.
Tom Hoge (+22000 FanDuel): This shorter course is a better fit for Hoge, who finished T12 in his last event in Texas and was T22 at The PLAYERS Championship where strong shot making and Ball Striking is demanded. Hoge has not fared well in three starts at Harbour Town with two missed cuts. But his game is in a better place now with seven straight starts gaining strokes on Approach, and four straight gains around the green. He also gets a preferred early tee time on Thursday off the first tee. A top-20 finish has odds of +600 and top-10 of +1700. Hoge has a better chance to finish higher than many players half his odds.
Chase Seiffert (+30000 at PointsBet): Here’s another Big Bertha bomb that has improved his play while posting pretty solid Strokes Gained stats over his last 36 rounds. That includes ranking No. 1 in accuracy off the tee at the recent Texas Valero Open. That’s clearly key this week, and while his Putting and Approach play let him down in his T44 finish in Texas, note he finished top-20 in his three previous events including T3 at the Honda when he was especially strong in approach, tee-to-green and overall strokes gained at 10.4 above field average. Seiffert is +4500 for top 5 finish this week, +1600 to finish top-10 and +750 for top-20. On a Pete Dye design at The American Express Stadium Course in January, Seiffert was top-10 into the final round before finishing T12, which started him on his way to improved play this year and increased accuracy, better ball striking and overall strokes gained stats. Following last week’s 2-0 tournament match-up results at The Masters, we’re now 14-3 on match-ups since the start of 2021 and the Sony Open. That includes a 4-0 run since the Honda Classic, where we had longshot Matt Wallace as a match-up winner by the weekend, and 5-1 since The PLAYERS Championship when we had Justin Thomas as both the outright winner and tournament match-up winner. Continuing a 6-1 run since Will Zalatoris (+4500) delivered a top-10 finish as a golfer to watch and another match-up winner for us in the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and 8-1 since the WGC Workday with two more match-up winners (plus a push), and a golfer to watch in Collin Morikawa (+4500) who won the tournament outright. Finally, the run is currently 9-1 back to the Genesis Invitational at Riviera where we whacked another easy match-up winner (plus a push) when our opponent missed the cut.
