LSU Tops Alabama And Moves To No. 1 In College Football Playoff Poll
LSU Leads Latest College Football Playoff Poll
Upon completion of our big game betting preview last week in Forbes, we moved ahead and played all three underdogs in the biggest games of Week 11. It paid off, as LSU (+6) knocked off Alabama 46-41, Minnesota (+6.5) took down Penn State 31-26 and Iowa (+9) nearly completed the outright underdog upsets but covered in a 24-22 defeat.
In this week’s article at Forbes, I outline the college football playoff rankings with LSU now No. 1 followed by Ohio State, Clemson and Georgia. Alabama falls to No. 5.
- LSU (9-0)
- Ohio State (9-0)
- Clemson (10-0)
- Georgia (8-1)
- Alabama (8-1)
- Oregon (8-1)
- Utah (8-1)
- Minnesota (9-0)
- Penn State (8-1)
- Oklahoma (8-1)
Read the rest of my college football playoff rankings and betting article at Forbes, and review the remaining schedules of the top teams including Minnesota, who was the biggest mover in this week’s CFP poll. The Gophers have a dominant defense and have improved to move into the list of efficient and balanced offenses. That combination is always worth consideration and support on a team in the underdog role, and Minnesota (+3) is an underdog again this week at Iowa.
More records this week as Ohio State (-52.5) is a Big Ten record favorite at Rutgers.
