Who Wins The 2019 National Championship? Alabama vs. Clemson Betting Breakdown

2019 National Championship And College Football Playoff Odds And Betting Breakdown

Here is my recent article at Forbes on the CFB Playoff National Championship game between No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Clemson.

The two best teams in the College Football Playoff meet again in the National Championship game on Jan. 7 as No. 1 Alabama tackles No. 2 Clemson. Both teams continue to dominate the college football landscape, as since the start of the 2015 season Alabama is 55-3 and Clemson is 54-4.

This is the 5th year of the College Football Playoff, and Alabama and Clemson meet for the fourth year in a row. Alabama has won the National Championship two of the last three years including in 2015 over Clemson 40-35. In 2016, Clemson beat Alabama 35-31 in the National Championship. Last year in the 2017 College Football Playoff semifinals, Alabama beat Clemson 24-6, and the Crimson Tide went on to win the National Championship over Georgia, 26-23 in overtime.

While the College Football Playoff debate continues on the current 4-team format, and reform towards an 8-team playoff continues, there is no argument on the two best teams in college football.
