NFL Week 16 Look Ahead Lines Add Insight From Bookmaker

Here is a weekly article I provide for TheLines with some insight into the betting market moves and advance look-ahead lines for NFL games including NFL Week 17.

We cashed in on two of them with the Colts and Bears in our weekly Fairway’s Football Forecast, and even the Dolphins pulled off the Miami Miracle in their shocking and miraculous last play finish to stun the Patriots 34-33 and keep their own playoff and wild card hopes alive. That was until the Dolphins got buried by the Vikings 41-17 in Week 15, and the Seahawks lost in OT 26-23 at San Francisco (+4) to provide us a 2-0 week on our Week 15 underdog picks with Carolina (+6.5), who lost to New Orleans 12-9 for another home underdog cover. Home underdogs are 12-7-1 ATS the last three weeks.

Two Saturday games in Week 16 includes Washington at Tennessee, as the Titans (8-6) try to stay in the wild card chase into the final week as the the AFC South playoff race, continues with the Colts (8-6) and Texans (10-4) also pushing towards the playoffs. Baltimore (8-6) has a huge game at Los Angeles against the Chargers (11-3) with both teams having plenty to play for in the playoff and division chase and AFC playoff positioning.
