NFL Lookahead Lines Week 5

LVH in Las Vegas posts NFL Lookahead Lines – Week 5

NFL Lookahead LinesEach week during the NFL season, the LVH Superbook (@LVSuperBook) in Las Vegas (formerly the Hilton) releases the betting lines for the following week’s games. These lines offer a glimpse at the projected betting lines at least 10 days in advance of the games.

These ‘NFL Lookahead Lines’ or advance lines can be useful in not only projecting ahead to next week’s games and lines, but also to keep you from over-reacting to one game or the upcoming games results.

Note that despite the ‘over-reaction’ of the Seahawks being a 16-point favorite over the Jaguars on the week 4 NFL Lookahead Line, Seattle went off as a 20-point favorite on game day and covered in a 45-17 win.

Still, evaluate and understand the stats, lines and try to think like a bookmaker. Work to become more proficient in anticipating lines moves and setting your own lines. As you become more proficient in interpreting information, you’ll learn to better apply the information and insight to the betting line.

Best wishes as you shoot for more birdies and green on the gridiron, and remember to watch and follow the NFL advance lines along with my weekly NFL Podcast at VegasSportsZone.com.
