Super Bowl 55: Inside The Numbers and Bets

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs (-3) are ready for kickoff in Super Bowl 55. A final flurry of betting activity comes in the final 24 hours before kickoff, and we’re seeing some major wagers and more Bucs support to balance the books.

But the Chiefs are still the popular public favorite, and I update more data in a market report. My reporting for TheLines includes betting date from leading online sportsbooks and comments from sportsbook directors.

I chip-in more in my Super Bowl 55 coverage for Forbes with another look Inside the Numbers, bets and what’s happening at the sportsbooks.

That includes for the popular prop bets.

“This year is unique for player props because of all the uncertainty regarding snap counts and roles,” William Hill’s Nick Bogdanovich said. “There’s all sorts of little dynamics for both teams.”

I provided an early Super Bowl preview more than 10 days ago with othe historical data and ATS information.

Additional Super Bowl market data is available in my coverage at Offshore Gaming. It includes other stats and ATS information plus some bets and props of interest.

I also add a betslip on a budget in my Super Bowl coverage and contributions to the popular sports betting news and information site, TheLines.
