Raiders Ready To Score In 2020 NFL Draft

Las Vegas Raiders Have Two First Round Picks In 2020 NFL Draft

The NFL Draft bets are nearly ready to be settled. So are the mock drafts as the NFL teams prepare for a virtual draft with executives and draft personnel hunkered down at home. Which teams will call an audible early in the draft or in the top 10 picks? Will the Las Vegas Raiders move out of their No. 12 and No. 19 selections in the first round?

I wouldn’t bet on it, and I break down the Raiders need to score a touchdown in this year’s NFL Draft in my article at Forbes. So one of the top wide receivers in the NFL Draft are likely to be wearing the Silver and Black and a new Las Vegas Raiders uniform, which will be displayed for the first time during the NFL Draft.

Bookmakers are betting on props as I outlined in recent articles, and more NFL Draft props were added to the more than 100 already offered at William Hill this week. Director of Trading Nick Bogdanovich told me recently that  the 2020 NFL Draft “will be by far the biggest handle we’ve seen.”

The top four wide receivers over/under draft position odds, which fluctuate leading into the draft, tell you the strength at the top of this year’s draft for wide receivers. There is also much depth at wide out along with offensive linemen. Look for 5-7 players at each position to be first round picks with William Hill setting the over/under:

Offensive linemen: 6.5 (Over -145)

Wide receivers: 5.5 (Over -180)

  • CeeDee Lamb: 12.5 (Over +112/Under -140)
  • Jerry Jeudy: 12.5 (Over +155/Under -175)
  • Henry Ruggs: 14.5 (Over +100/Under -120)
  • Justin Jefferson: 19.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

Lots of interest in the four quarterbacks expected to be drafted in the first round, and Tua Tagovailoa is taking the most bets and money as one of the quarterbacks you can bet on as I broke down and evaluated in a recent article at Forbes.

I chipped in more NFL Draft coverage with information you can bet on, noting player market moves and betting odds and insights on another article at Offshore Gaming Association.

PFF Critical Factors: The Most Important Numbers For The 2020 NFL Draft Class

The NFL Draft has become a phenomenon as technology and television have taken it to new heights. It’s too bad the 2020 NFL Draft scheduled to be live in Las Vegas had to be turned into a virtual event due to the COVID-19 health crisis.

But Vegas will be back and get a shot to host the NFL Draft in the next 2-4 years. By then we’ll know if the Las Vegas Raiders draft picks and top choices were worthy picks that didn’t ‘crap out’, and a solid return on their investment.

You can bet on it.
