NFL Week 16 Look Ahead Lines Add Insight From Bookmaker

Here is a weekly article I provide for TheLines with some insight into the betting market moves and advance look-ahead lines for NFL games including NFL Week 16.

In my article earlier this month at Forbes. I noted seven road favorites and for bettors to beware. Result – those favorites went 3-4 SU and 2-5 ATS. We cashed in on Dallas as a big home ‘Dog against the streaking Saints in the Cowboys 13-10 win. Then this past Sunday in Week 14, eight road favorites found tough times again as road favorites went 3-5 SU/ATS. We cashed in on two of them with the Colts and Bears in our weekly Fairway’s Football Forecast, and even the Dolphins pulled off the Miami Miracle in their shocking and miraculous last play finish to stun the Patriots 34-33 and keep their own playoff and wild card hopes alive.

We’re back on two more underdogs in Week 15, as we play the situation and scheduling spot supporting San Francisco at home against Seattle. And on prime time Monday night football, we hope Cam Newton can turn back into Superman and help the Panthers snap their 5-game slide or at least cover and cash as a big home ‘Dog against the streaking Saints.

Houston also looks to bounce back in the AFC South playoff race,  but the Jets are an ugly home ‘Dog that could rise up and bark. Same with the Steelers, who host their nemesis New England with Pittsburgh heading South in the AFC North with a 3-game losing streak and injury issues as Big Ben and his Steelers scramble down the stretch to make a post season push.
