Looking For A Longshot At The Sanderson Farms Championship

Most the top ranked players are missing this week at the Sanderson Farms Championship, but the field has improved and gotten stronger at this event the last two years.

Still, as I noted in my Sanderson Farms Championship preview at TheLines, no golfer with odds below 60/1 has won this event since it moved to The Country Club of Jackson in 2014. That provides another opportunity to target more golfers with longshot odds to win or finish top-10 or top-20.

The young, rising stars in the field include three past PGA Tour Rookie of the Year players Scottie Scheffler, Sungjae Im and Sebastian Munoz, who won this event on the first playoff hole over Sungjae Im in 2019 for his first PGA Tour win.

The match-up drawing the most interest this week at Draftkings Sportsbook is Scottie Scheffler (-125) vs Sungjae Im (-106)./

Additional updates, tournament match-ups of interst along with Fairway’s Foursome of winners to be provided by Wednesday evening. Another tournament match-up winner last week in the Corales Puntacana Championship and near outright winner with Adam Long blowing a third round lead.
