Fairway’s Football Forecast – NFL Week 12 Underdog Picks And Preview

NFL Week 12 Underdog Picks and Information You Can Bet On

On a downward spiral the past month and last week’s 0-3 ATS underdog result has us regrouping. A pair of close losses on the Eagles and Bears after holding both the Patriots and Rams below 300 yards offense is disappointing. But not as disappointing as the play of clueless quarterback Jameis Winston. The Buccaneers QB now has 21 turnovers this season after four more interceptions last week – two turnovers per game.

If you didn’t know, teams that lose the turnover battle by two or more in an NFL game are 10-52 ATS this season. Winston is the worst, and he’s exhibit A that talent and arm strength only take you so far playing playing quarterback in the NFL. A brain that can think and process clearly, make good decisions and deliver the ball quickly, accurately and in rhythm is more important. So is toughness and leadership. In his fifth NFL season, Winston has not been able to grasp how to do these things consistently without making more mistakes week after week. If Tampa resigns him, they get what they deserve. So does any other NFL team that figures him to be their franchise quarterback.

On to Week 12 with more storylines and market moves along with look ahead lines I provide at TheLines as teams push towards the playoffs.

Now below .500 on these pages this season selecting only underdogs, and the 2+ year record stands at 67-46 ATS (59%). Let’s continue with a pair of ugly ‘Dogs in Week 12.
